Car got hit a while back by one of their insurers. Been going in circles non stop having to make follow up calls because they refuse to do their job. The adjuster Maria has lied multiple times. I have it documented. My 2021 Honda sport is absolutely wrecked and after calling and calling they finally say the estimate is 9,000. Joke and scam of an insurance company. They say my car is apparently fixable when I can’t even open my driver door and a huge part of the back of my car is wrapped around my tire. Complete frame damage. They wouldn’t even document that I said I can’t even drive my car. I’ve had to ask so many times if it’s on the report. Nope. I wouldn’t waste your time. They lie and they avoid calls. I was told after 2 weeks that my claim wasn’t even filed right. ? Beyond livid right now. And apparently they only work with a certain body shop that does work for very cheap. Getting a lawyer involved at this point to sue them. And now my car is deemed a total loss and I filed through them (his insurance not mine of who hit me) I’m apparently now responsible for paying storage fees of over 3,000 because they dragged their feet for over 2 months!??? They are an absolute scam and a joke and need to be shut down!!!! My insurance said in all of 10 years they’ve never dealt with something of what Founders is pulling. Such a disgrace and disgusting company for the scam they pull! They even backdated a letter to the day my car was hit which is completely fraudulent, trying to say they sent it 2 months ago when in fact it never came hence the backdating. My car ended up being an over 18,000 fix which is why it was deemed a total loss, frame damage and all because a person from Founders Insurance decided to go joy riding in the night. Their total loss claims person “Blanca” has only answered my calls once in all of 2 months. What a joke and so unprofessional. I’ve since gotten legal advice and realized they broke the law in more ways than one and now that I’ve emailed and pointed that out, no response and my number seems to be blocked! HOW ARE THESE PEOPLE NOT SHUT DOWN!!!?

This is insane. Their insured driver hit me and was 100% at fault and yet I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone there. Run around by all, especially Julie Sturgeon, who can't seem to ever answer her own phone. Unbelievable! Who do I contact to file complaints against this company?!?!

ZERO STARS This has been the most awful experience. My niece was re-ended by one of their insured and it is 4 weeks later, they have so specific repair shops they work with, their estimate is far below the one she has received, they won't provide a rental car. It's isn't easy to get a response from these people. If you have been hit by one of their insured go straight to an attorney with neck and head pain if you don't have it from the actual accident you will after attempting to work with them

Founders is in my top three for car insurance companies. Very easy website to navigate. Their communication is superb. Excellent excellent excellent I have not more to say definitely get a policy today.

NO Star for this company. My 86 year old dad was rear ended by a driver who is insured by Founders Insurance. My sister's are dealing with the agent, going no where. My dad is now very depressed since he cannot go anywhere. His car was his way of going to church, see his friends, and go to the stores. I don't know who can help at this point. I don't want my dad to die of depression due to this accident. Which was NOT his fault.Many phone calls have been made to the company , no response from the agent, put on hold for over an hour untill we cannot hold any longer and force to hang up.

No star for this company or even negative star if I could give. This cannot even express how mad and upset I am with this company. They are no help, unreasonable and unresponsive company. If you get into the collision with their insured, it’d be better claiming your own insurance because it will take forever. They will not care about you, how you will commute with no car. When you call, most of the time it will be no answer. And I guarantee you that they will pay you nothing and say the accident partly your fault too. You will end up call your insurance like me. Do not make yourself suffered with this company!!!!!!!!!

0 STARS THAT SHOULD BE A OPTION ! Sandy is the absolute worse person to talk and deal with she is beyond disrespectful I’ve had only about 3 max conversations with her and she was rude every time ! But I called today because I canceled my insurance and they sent something stating I have to pay a fine for not wanting it. Which is ridiculous! So I call get her I’m stating my issue she interrupts FIRST OF ALL CAN I HAVE YOUR NAME I state my name she like OK WHAT WAS THE ISSUE. I said ok as I was stating she interrupts again saying ACTUALLY THE FIRST TIME YOU DIDNT SAY YOUR NAME! At that point I was tired of her being rude for nothing and being loud so I’m like ok you rude everytime I call and you always disrespectful for no reason at this point were were having a argument about her disrespect like just CORRECT IT ! And state you wrong like you DONT NEED TO WORK THERE SANDY ! So I’m like ok I’m not about to argue with you and stay my issue about the bill and I don’t know if she knew she was wrong or she felt bad cause I said I just got out the hospital but she fixed her attitude! Either way she was dead wrong. And she was any other time ! She tells me that the bill is nothing and to discard it I don’t need to send in documentation of my hospitalization and about me not being able to work right now or pay it. I state that it says on the bill that it will go into collections if I don’t pay by 2/1/24 which was yesterday when I was released I’m just now opening it today. She states that founders doesn’t do that it won’t go into collections don’t worry about it . I’m still very skeptical because why would it say that on the bill ? So the bill lying or is she? If it goes into collections I want this noted and I kept my bill! Moral of the story because I don’t know about that part yet that sandy is beyond rude and like I stated there were many other incidents ! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AND I SAY ANYTHING THEY OWN THEY ARE BAD OVER ALL ! RUN IMMEDIATELY!!!!

Was rear-ended by a person with Founders Insurance. Working with them was hell, constantly having to call them for updates. They don't give any details, state on a few occasions that they didn't have my contact information. Then send a generic letter that they denied my claim. I called them to find out because they was another insurance carrier that was the primary that is why my claim was denied and I had to follow up with the other insurer. Ugh! so frustrating!

My dad had founders insurance for years, years, until we towed the truck. Never had a problem with them. My husband got into 2 accidents and right away founders team helped with all our needs. NEVER had a problem with Founders Insurance, now i got a new truck and looking forward to getting back into this insurance

Always get cancelled if I can’t pay within the 30 days well news flash a lot of months have 31 days so and up how many late fees I have ,where is the grace period? I’ve been trying to pay befor my payment due but does that count NO I’m thinking about going to The General where they work with you ,founders thumbs down.

Paid for six months auto insurance upfront, was told the policy was for full coverage, get my declarations page and it’s only liability. I call to cancel same day and and was told to file dispute with my bank Or I have to write a letter to Founders telling them I won’t file a dispute with my bank, then they will issue refund but money will get back to me faster filing dispute. Mind you the policy doesn’t go into effect until February 4th. It’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard. I’ve canceled many policies and automatically was refunded. I will report them to the government agency that oversees insurance.
