My Brother, my Son and I had been searching the U.S. for a wheelchair van for my Mom who suffered a significant stroke more than a year ago. After weeks of striking out, or vehicles being sold out from under us, we found a beauty at Cumberland Automotive Sales. We live in Montana. I called and spoke to George directly. I tell you what, I made a friend that day. We talked about the van, my Mom and the importance of her independence. George was very helpful. We worked out a deal that we were both very happy with. He really wanted to help my Mom regain her freedom. He gave me a quote on shipping and I decided that I wanted to fly to Chicago and meet George and then I would drive the van back. Soon as George heard that I was going to fly in, he offered to pick me up at the airport. Wow now I didn't have to pay cab fare and deal with all of that. It was obvious that George was a proud Chicagoan, so I hit him up to share some famous Chicago food with me. On our way to the dealership we swung through Portillo's and picked up a hot dog, excellent. We then stopped in at Giordano's and placed an order for a deapdish stuffed pizza. Wow !!! Now that's a Pizza !!! It was like taking a bite of heaven. We then had an enjoyable time as he introduced me to the van, which was a bit like finding a unicorn… less than 33,000 miles on it equipped with everything that my Mom needs , had some pizza and finished up the paperwork. I feel like George is a long lost friend… he damn sure is a new one.
Do yourself a favor and stop in at Cumberland Automotive Sales. Talk to George and let him know how he can help YOU. Get an honest old school deal from a man who isn't going anywhere. It's convenient on and off the interstate. Close to the airport. Chances are you will leave with the vehicle you want at a great price… and have a new friend.

George just sold my car for me. He handled the whole process from detailing, photos, advertising, etc. He got me a very fair price and a quick turnaround. I plan on purchasing my next car through Cumberland. The whole process was painless, and George is a very pleasant man to do business with. 5 stars!

My mother bought a Toyota RAV-4 from George last year. It was in good working condition. We took the vehicle afterwards to get inspected by our mechanic. He said it was a good car in good working condition. There was full transparency during our purchase and George taught us a lot about the car, while we were test driving it. My mother speaks little English, but George worked well with her when she went by the second time to purchase the vehicle. It has been her favorite vehicle so far and she was very satisfied with the vehicle a year later. In the year she had it the car didn't need any crazy repairs. Just oil changes and eventually new brake pads. I would highly recommend coming here. A lot of dealerships like taking advantage of customers, especially women who walk in. But not here, they worked well with us and answered all of our questions. Sold us a good car and there was no pressure at any moment! Geroge is a very friendly person and very trustworthy, he truly cares for his customers!!

I bought an 08 CRV from this dealership. George was very helpful throughout the buying process as I had to get a loan from a credit union, which was available down the street.However, I took the car to a mechanic after purchase for an inspection and the water pump needs to be replaced as well as 2 tires, and the stabilizer bars which is going to cost me an additional $1000. The dealer provides a free 3 month warranty for any issues after purchase, but tires are not covered under this insurance and water pump is covered after 1 month and 1000 miles and according to my mechanic, the water pump should be replaced before that period. I like my car, I just wished there was more transparency from the seller regarding the current issues the car had since he didn’t want to negotiate the price.Lesson learned, if you are buying a used car make sure to bring a mechanic with you!

When buying a used car, you strive for a safe and reliable vehicle, in good shape, all at good market price. You also hope the place you buy it from is reputable and honest and thorough. You get those things from Cumberland Automotive Sales and their twenty years of experience and doing good work. George is accommodating and fair and sells cars he believes in. Recommended most definitely.
