One of the worst WiFi services I have ever used. Do not fall for their cheap prices. I needed cheaper internet after being charged 170$ for internet that was great but too expensive. I now pay $55 a month for garbage internet that lags 95% of the time, can’t buffer a live stream, can’t play a simple online video game. It’s advertised at 100-300 MBPS Download (fine) and 10 MBPS Upload, I don’t even get 5 mb on the upload. I’ve contacted support to try and fix it and get this they just say unplug the router. All in all I highly regret ever leaving xfinity but now I’m stuck in a contract since I was given an Xbox one in exchange for the worlds worst WiFi. Phone service sucks just as bad as the WiFi too it’s actually hilarious because I thought Verizon was a somewhat top tier company.

We got our phones at this location in 2021, when the microchip shortage happened - we had to wait for 2 out of 3 phones to get ordered. Bill started out at around 250$/mo for 3 lines. We also got accessories (cases, screen protectors) After switching from AT&T when my husband changed jobs. Since we got Verizon we have NOT gotten the service we were promised and paying for. Everytime I called in I was told that it's showing on Verizons end no traffic and we should be getting 5G and full bars. Never has happened! We have had issues with phones going into SOS mode - showing no network connection (not just service but not reading carrier network at all!), not being able to send/receive text messages, calls, poor internet, SIM issues, basically everything that a phone is - we weren't getting. After many calls to support to trouble shoot and solve issues, support promised to send a network extender to try - waited months, called, never received. Sometimes when I called and the calls dropped due to poor service, they never even bothered to call back. Our bill just went up to 278$/mo and with the issues we have been having I called again due to the higher bill and ongoing connectivity issues. They ran tests again, did a bunch of stuff to my phone and tried to give me a new esim (no mention of my missing promised extender) - whatever that support did rendered my phone completely useless. I could not call out, could not send text, could not get internet at ALL. All I could do is call 611 but then even that call dropped and they couldn't call me back because the state my phone was in. I rushed to Dekalb Store for help. I am a SAHM with a 1 year old and we have been ill. I cannot be without a phone especially right now. They were not helpful. Told me to call Verizon support and offered to order me a new phone (I've been skeptical that it's the phone since we have had issues across all 3 lines.) I told them I could not call and to please help me call to solve issue - I have no other phone or service - all 3 phones in the home are Verizon and all 3 have been having issues for over a year - calling support has not provided solution, promises of network extender or other fixes had never been received after waiting months and clearly my history shows we have had ongoing issues with no resolution. And now our bill is almost 300$/mo! Are you guys going to pay my no contact no show for appointments I could not call to cancel with my vet, my daughters orthodontist, ect because I am sick and also left without phone service to call a doctor at that outrageous fee?! And then you clearly all have phones there, are in the business...there is absolutely zero reason why you could not assist me in providing me a way at your location to call Verizon under the circumstances. To add insult to injury, instead of good business and crediting my bill for the lack of service promised, your customer service representatives tried to sell me additional services at over 20$/ MORE per month despite the long term ongoing issues with my current set up. You lost a customer yesterday. I walked across the street to Tmobile and sent up 3 lines, upgraded phones & home internet for $150/mo 3 lines and $40/mo for home internet - I now actually get the 5G service and bars I was promised by you through TMobile at less of a cost!
My problem now is that I am no longer a customer, I cannot check the status of the phone you allegedly ordered or cancel it. Can't get into our account - which we still have bills and prior bill history on the account so it seems almost criminal that I can't even get into that portion of my account with you & now suddenly I cannot get through to ANY Verizon Customer Service Representative. Awful business. And I tried to give them a shot, I tried to allow them to follow through, make things right and provide us a better service experience MANY times - it's 2024! We have been doing this since 2021!

We picked the same time to visit the store that 6 others decided to as well. 45 minute wait. 1pm on Friday. It's not the staff's fault, they were very polite and courteous, I couldn't convince my wife that we should just go home, make an appointment. Once you were finally able to help us, and showed us the plan for 2 phones, and wouldn't change/do anything to lower our bill, change the plan,..nothing, we will say goodbye to Verizon. Start fresh with another provider that can work with us on our retirement budget.

I should have checked the reviews for this place before I went. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.Avoid here (and Verizon for that matter) at all costs. Go with Mint Mobile instead.

The manager here is extremely rude and disrespectful. The techs tried to work with me and help me but the manager basically told me "if you aren't here to buy something, please leave and call Verizon for support. We are a sales shop. Not technical support" irony being, tier 3 tech support asked me to go in and speak with the techs. Verizon wireless WANTED me to go to this store and get in person assistance and the manager told me that wasn't his problem....Definitely would not suggest going to this Verizon if you're looking for support. Based on my interactions I'll never buy a phone from his shop on principal alone. This is not how you treat a customer of almost 20 years

Thanks to the guy that charged me 30 bucks to transfer my phone then couldn’t get it done for me. He said to call him if I had any trouble at home and yet he never answered his phone or called back after I left a message. Glad the people in the rochelle were willing to help.

This place is a joke, they just tell you to call tech support and say they're going to ask you for some information that we don't know. All of them like little drones staring at their pads. It's funny. I come in telling the kid what I want and what needs to be done. And he's like you need to change your plan. I'm like no I don't. I leave and call customer service. They're like you don't need to change your plan. All these dudes try to do is push, push, push, sell, sell, sell. I guess that's the way of the world now. Sad to see your top three reviews are one star

The customer service was horrible. My mom and I went on a Sunday and you could tell the two men that helped us did NOT want to be there. Plus, they messed up our account and overcharged us. Didn't know what they were doing. Good luck to these lazy, rude, and incompetent individuals!

The absolute most pathetic store I have ever dealt with. I would expect better service from the Taliban. As a brand new customer I am flabbergasted that I would be treated in such a way. I walked into the store as I recently ported over and am having issues with my device and specific features not working. I had discussed with the representative my issue. To which he responds not an issue with your service, it’s with your phone. Go to Apple. I explained my phone is 1 day old, this issue seems to be service related would you be willing to assist with troubleshooting. His response was, what am I going to do?
