Worst tow truck company in DeKalb county. The drivers and the people who works in the front office are rude and disrespectful. When you go and ask a simple question they will simply tell you call the owner of the business. Why should I if I'm in there asking a question? They can't even tell you anything. I'm glad this place has two stars. They shouldn't even have any stars

Would not recommend their number is listed as a contact number for my claim thru first ancceptance insurance and they are so rude the lady and I use that term real loosely cursed at me for no reason. Horrible company and employees and I’m not surprised that there are similar reviews. The people need to be put out of business.

I just got off the phone with whoever the lady running the place is and she is rude and disrespectful. They truly live up to their expectations.

TERRIBLE customer service. Lady that handles the calls and at the desk is beyond rude! Attitude for no reason at all and I hope she loses her job. Most of these reviews are based off her and they need to get rid of her IMMEDIATELY!

Excellent customer service. Lovett's T&R gave me a reasonable price for the tow compared to area competitors. Their guy Robby paid attention to detail, was timely, professional and kind.

I was very hesitant on the service me and my partner were going to get after reading the reviews. My partner was involved in a single accident a couple of weeks ago. Which Lovetts Towing came to put the car on a flatbed because the vehicle was totaled. Because of our work schedules conflicted us from going to salvage our belongings in the vehicle. We let the towing fees increase and which we knew we had to pay it off. We spoke to Carrie who is the office manager and she was very polite and very understanding and was able to freeze the fees from increasing until this week to come get our belongings out the vehicle. When we got to the company yesterday. We were told that the fees were going to be almost $1000 but they worked hard for just a settlement amount of $600. We were very pleased with the professionalism and even got a bit of history from the mechanic that helped us get things out of our vehicle. The whole experience yesterday was so pure and helpful. We both were satisfied with the efforts of the staff and I would like to say thank you to the Lovetts Team for such a pleasant experience during such a rough time. God Bless

very poor customer service. i live in an apartment that requires parking passes, my pass was valid & displayed on my dashboard. it was snowing outside (and around midnight), so the pass was not visible. instead of brushing off the snow to see the properly displayed pass ... they towed my car. mistakes happen, and i get that! but the lady i spoke to on the phone when i called to ask if they had my car was incredibly rude. i am disabled and use a wheelchair, and my car is modified so that i can drive it. this could have been worse, as i was only going to pick up a friend and didn't need to drive to work or anything. fortunately, they did bring my car back within a couple hours. very frustrating experience though.

Got my car towed which is my fault Ik. However, my boyfriend is a diabetic and all of his insulin was in the car. I called and said the car can wait but we need the insulin right now! She said no I can get in in the morning and hung up. I called again saying we are getting the insulin now or calling the cops. After an hour of waiting to hear from her she finally and very rudely after saying I'm calling the cops had us get the insulin! She then argued sayinf "what happens if he doesn't get it? Is he gonna die? Why do you need it?" Ridiculous

They are lucky I can't give zero stars. I live in an apartment complex that requires parking permits to be displayed at all times while parked or else you get towed. I asked my apartment a long time ago if I needed to put the sticker on my front windshield because I was having to take different vehicles from my actual home once in a while and I didn't want it in a permanent spot. They even said that it was fine. Everything was going good for months, just a day or so ago I got towed by Lovettes. No warning no nothing for not displaying my parking permit. Who knows if they saw the opportunity to try and knock down the parking permit while it just sits on the dash as they were towing so they could "legally" take my vehicle. I found out yesterday evening and it wasn't because people were trying to contact me about it. I had to call my apartment who doesn't have good hours at all and they directed me to Lovettes. On top of everything, the lady that I spoke to was extremely rude and made me feel unsafe throughout the whole process. I had to go back today because I didn't grab cash beforehand because I was going to try to fight it so I wouldn't get charged. I have proof that I had bought the pass and everything and it should have been resolved from there. I can't do anything now. I just felt attacked during the whole process because I wasn't given any information unless I asked for it.

Absolutely ridiculous excuse for customer service, spoke with Kerri/Carrie or whatever her name is she was very condescending and unprofessional, I was in absolute shock for the way I was spoken to she would not give me any details I was asking for just repeated the same vague answers and told me off for asking, this was after she said "hold" and slammed the phone down... decided to call back and speak to the manager and she was just as bad, waste of my time. No wonder their reviews are this bad.Service: Car towing

This is by far the worst location to get towed at. The lady is a complete menace and refuses to retrieve life saving medicine because it’s an inconvenience for them. Up charges and requires a cash payment all for lousy customer service.Service: Car towing

The ONLY reason they got 1 star is because 0 isn't an option. My 18 year old daughter got in a single car accident on the interstate on a Saturday evening. They did a good job with response and towing. Then the AWFUL customer service started. I called on Monday to check on the damage (I live 2 hours away) and to pay the tow bill. The woman who answered the phone was absolutely horrible. She told me I could NOT pay the bill and that the car was totaled. She then added that the tow was $200 (for 4 miles) and $25/day storage fee for 6 days and then it goes up to $50/day. My insurance adjuster went there on Wednesday and informed me the car wasn't totaled and how rude the woman was to her. I drove up Thursday with my 2 sons (28 and 24) and my daughter met us there. Only ONE person allowed in to the office at a time and they do not care if it's freezing outside. They would NOT accept my credit card and said it had to be my daughters credit card since she owns the car. What 18 year old has a credit card!!! We had to find an ATM and pull out cash. I sent my daughter in with cash in hand and she came out with a receipt and informed us that the woman told her that ONLY 2 people were allowed in the yard to get the car. I couldn't believe it and went into the office to speak with the monster. I told her that we needed to try and jumpstart it and if it didn't work we were going to push it out of the lot. She responded with "It only takes one person to jump a car". SERIOUSLY !!!! She then told me that they could tow it out of the lot but there would be a fee. I told her how ridiculous all of their "rules" were. I asked to speak to the person who makes the rules and was told she "wasn't available". At that point I walked out of the office and went to discuss a game plan for getting her car out of there as fast as we could. She was absolutely the most difficult person I've ever dealt with!! The WORST customer service I've ever encountered. During both interactions there was a serviceman sitting at a desk further inside the building listening to everything yet saying nothing. Several minutes later rude woman came out to my car and said they would try to jumpstart the car and if it didn't work they would tow it out for free. Two of us walked into the yard and met the man who towed the car out and then offered to jump it with a portable battery pack. Thank heavens it worked!!!! We couldn't drive away fast enough!!!!*By the way just before we left the gentleman tried to explain why the lady was difficult by saying they deal with a lot of Northern Illinois College students who try to scam them with paying. I told him my daughter does not attend that college and clearly me and my sons are not students and my drivers license picture was clearly me and matched the credit card I was trying to use. Seems like they may be a bit biased toward the students so beware.Service: Car towing
