One person at the counter - new customer service or teller (whatever her title is). Most unpleasant, sits on a chair and doesn't budge to assist people with packages or queries or the elderly.
This lady gives loud instructions to clients to leave their packages in the indoor mail slots BUT since it was not removed by the staff inside, the next client struggled.
Additionally, this lady is argumentative with no base. No manners (please, thank you etc.)
The service is soooooo slow at this USPS and you need people like Andrew (left) or Yvonne (retired) who were efficient, friendly and professional. You also need back-ups, lines and wait time is ridiculous.
Thank you!

Absolutely horrific post office. One person working, who kept getting distracted to speak with someone in the back.

Why do we even have post offices anymore. Hours are insane. Employees are rude. They move like sloths. And then ask you information about their job. What's the zip code in Tallahassee in the zone your sending? How in the heck am I supposed to know that. That's literally your whole job. Take stuff. Send it somewhere else. You want your single letter envelope there by two weeks? 15$ stamp. Best we can do. And you gotta have insurance. Someone needs to make an Uber. But for mail.

This post office is filled with mean people who don't listen and don't care about you or your mail. They blame you for their issues and sometimes outright lie. Once I was told my mail carrier was going to deliver something to me that day (the tracking said it was being held at the post office) and I waited three days and it never came. I went back and it said that my mail was requested to be held. Had they read the note they would've known to hold one specific person's mail not everyone with that last name. Infuriating experience any time I have to step foot in this place

If I could give zero stars I would. Rudest customer service I've ever experienced.

This is without a doubt the worst post office. The service is terrible and they don’t care… Today, I spent 30 minutes with a teller who couldn’t figure out how to put $1.07 on the 22 letters I needed to mail… She would go to the back as slow as she could possibly walk and then come back up (just as slowly) with no clue how to mail my letters…. So….. I actually went to the post office to mail 22 letters and they couldn’t figure out how to do it! After 30 minutes, I gave up and told the teller to just forget it…… I’ll go to a different post office tomorrow…..what a waste of my time…. Complete incompetents who don’t care one bit……So irritating! If there was a score lower than 1star I would give that.

Service can be slow, but there is one worker here I'd like to commend! He's a tall guy who's helped me twice with shipping packages and was very patient, especially since I was super unfamiliar with the process. I appreciate his friendliness in an environment where customers & employees alike tend to be on-edge or standoffish.

First off, apparently you need to make an appointment just to have a passport picture taken. I went to the website and could not find where to actually make said appointment but also find it a bit ridiculous. I had ALL paperwork filled out online, and just needed a picture - yet I had to make an appointment. There was ONE gentleman in front of me, and he had apparently made an appt (I have no idea how) and they said it would be a 30 MINUTE WAIT to have my picture taken. There were 2 other employees besides the employee helping the guy, and NO OTHER CUSTOMERS in the entire building. I used to photograph passport pictures at Sears as a manager, it's not that hard. I should've just offered to do it myself if they had a tripod. The employee helping the passport guy actually asked the other 2 employees to take the passport picture and they said no. Then they told me to go to Walgreens! I was being perfectly reasonable, but they were so rude. I just figured the actual post office could do what they do best - and apparently today what they do best is not help customers sadly. If it was busy, I would completely understand. I should've just gone somewhere else.I will add that the male post office employee doing the passports seemed very nice, but unfortunately the female he was working with at the counter and in the back left such bad impressions that I couldn't possibly go back.

Avoid this post office if you can, it is worth driving to an entirely different town for help. Walked in 15 minutes before the location closed and was told the help I needed would take 20 minutes so they were unwilling to help me. Really? You can't stay five minutes after closing to help me with my mail? This place is the definition of a worthless government service provider.

Doesn’t even deserve one star! Mail deliveries sporadic, often delivered after 5pm. It’s 5:35pm 6/9/23, still no mail delivery yet. I signed up for Informed Delivery just to know what’s SUPPOSED to be delivered today. Additionally, one regular front counter postal clerk is very RUDE and very slow in performing her duties. Post Office needs a shakeup. Maybe a congressional investigation?!?!?! No other business in town would survive this kind of service.

I paid Priority package to be delivered to Northbrook,IL. It was supposed to be delivered today. They send the package to Elk Grove and now it is sitting in Palatine for no reason and who knows for how long. Why do they have to send the package away if the recipient lives a mile away from Deerfield? That was the reason I send the package from that facility so it will arrive faster. I just thrown away $18 for a “fast delivery” that will take longer than a regular mail. USPS is not what it is used to be. There workers need more common sense.
