They don't sell Sara Lee meats in the deli section. That's one strike against this Deerfield jewel. They need to keep an eye or train their bagging crew better. Bought a French silk pie and the bagger just bagged it lying sideways with other items. I caught that right away and she totally did not get it. I understand their baggers are challenged but I'm still paying big to shop there. I like the jewel in glenview better but it's touch and go with their produce sometimes.

I'm not exactly sure how this local grocery chain location made it onto Tripadvisor, but there is a deli with tons of carryout options, so perhaps that's the reason. The store is clean, there is plenty of parking, and the mall has other shopping (Hobby Lobby; Bed, Bath and Beyond; the Dump Furniture Outlet; etc.)

Good service, enough cashiers when required. The selections are numerous and weekly sales are helpful for holding down prices

I've lived across the street for 25 years and would like to comment on how this business has been declining over the last two decades. Less foot traffic, expired goods on the shelf (especially the beer - yes beer expires - check the bottom of the cans for dates). Always understaffed, unfriendly staff (most likely a reaction to the mismanagement - I work in customer service, I get it). Ever since marianos opened on Skokie, this business has taken a complete nose dive. Do the community a favor and just close shop. Dated.

I was very not satisfied at this location the associate who help me check out was very rude and was very rude to customer because the customer forgot his mask I would never go to this location again rude people at this location

Good options and variety of groceries. Fresh meats, fish and baked goods all look and taste great. Prices are reasonable.

TripAdvisor - you've misclassified the location. It is one of the Jewel food chain, no sitdown area to eat.

This jewel osco is good, they actually do a great job at providing customer service. Another thing is that this jewel is very convenient and is better than a lot of other jewels. Highly recommend

The newly remodeled store is very nice and clean. Stocked well with gluten free options which is very nice. Debbie provides fantastic customer service in the front of the store. She always has a smile and is Edgar to help in every situation. Frankly, she make this store great! Bakery is well stocked and helpful. Produce department is good for a Jewel. The meat/seafood department and deli could use a little work on customer service which is the only reason I give forur stars instead of five overall.

This store has shined for me on the customer service front on a few occasions - where something rang up wrong, the care of the folks behind the meat and deli counters, even the occasional "I can't find this" assist. High praise for that. I tend to go for what's on sale and in season, and mostly produce. The less glowing reviews may indeed have some truth to them; luckily my experience has been positive. I prefer this location over the Highland Park one I visited during the renovation.
