This shop is a gem! I came and talked to Greg who had a campagnolo tool I needed for a chain repair. After coming back to town after 20 years, it's a obvious Greg and his team at Deerfield are a staple in this community. They have a great selection to suit your needs. A Frustrating ecperience at Deerfield Cyclery
With a family members move to Deerfield, I was eager to discover local bike shops, and Deerfield Cyclery's prominent location piqued my interest. I envisioned potentially finding my dream bike there. However, my initial encounter, simply seeking a flat tire repair for my top-selling e-bike (the most widely sold brand in U.S. professional bike shops in 2022), turned into a disappointing ordeal.
The young technician initially appeared helpful, assuring me a flat tire fix was straightforward. However, his helpful attitude vanished when he inquired about the bike's purchase location. Learning I hadn't bought it there, he flatly stated they couldn't work on bikes not purchased from their store.
This policy struck me as incredibly short-sighted, especially considering the brand's widespread popularity and my need for basic maintenance. The experience left me feeling frustrated and relieved that I hadn't purchased a bike from them.
It's disheartening that such archaic practices persist. Prospective customers should be aware of Deerfield Cyclery's restrictive service policy before considering their business.

Can’t say enough nice things about this place. As someone who doesn’t really understand the pricing or the knowledge of cycling, but I got into it to race Ironman‘s. Greg and his team were a great help. From tune ups to custom fittings they really do know it all and are experts in their field. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place that actually cares, remembers your name and does a great job.

Im so glad to have gone into this shop! We are so lucky to have them in our community. It has such a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not pretentious at all like a lot of shops can be. The owner Greg is always around, and is a huge supporter of the community.

How have I not written a review? Our family is a superfan: it all started when I came in to buy a new bike seat, and Greg consulted with me and I never felt better on my bike after that! Fast forward 2 years, and we have purchased 2 bikes here. They carry the only brands we use: Giant and Cannondale. These bikes last forever--literally. Giant makes a women-specific line: Liv, which my daughter and I both use now. Besides being experts, the below truly sets Deerfield Cyclery apart from the rest: 1. Full bike fit included: this can cost up to $250 elsewhere 2. First-year tune-up included: This can run up to $150 at other shops 3. No questions asked on free adjustments, advice and any extras you may need. 4. FULL back bike workout room with classes--and they will keep your bike there in the winter! 5. Bike clubs! They run a few different rides. 6. Overall: the best service I have experienced from ANY retailer, ever. 7. Excellent pricing below other shops. There really is no equal to Greg and his team. We will be buying our 3rd bike from them soon for my husband. THANK you Greg!

I took part in an event at my school called Give A Thon where we raise money to provide gifts for families in need. I was supporting a family of 5 kids but didn’t have enough money raised to buy their requested bike and helmet. However, after reaching out to Greg, he graciously donated a wonderful bike and helmet for this family in need. I am very thankful for his contribution. It’s evident that he not only runs a great bike shop, but also values giving back to the community. Thank you again, Greg.

We needed to buy two bikes. These people were amazing! They were thoroughly knowledgeable and extraordinarily helpful. Before we came to Deerfield Cyclery, we went to a big box store and our experience there left much to be desired. The bottom line... Deerfield Cyclery is the place to go if you are anywhere within driving distance.
