The stylists who colored and cut my hair were great and really took their time, but I’m not happy with how I was charged. I should have said something when the stylist mentioned it or when I was checking out. I used a Groupon for the highlights and blow dry and then paid for the cut. I was charged an additional $50 for “thick” hair. I have pretty normal straight hair and the stylist chopped my hair to collarbone length before starting, so it was not very long. She charged an additional $50 for a “shadow root”. She blended the color at my roots so that there wasn’t a harsh line. This took about 5 minutes and it seems way too much to charge for that. In total, I paid over $300 with the Groupon. I can’t go back here and pay even more than that without the Groupon.

I got my hair done here for a balayage and I was happy with it because I haven’t gotten my hair done like ever with color so I’m not too familiar with how it’s supposed to look. I’m not the most experienced and I’ve since been told that what I have are highlights? After doing a bit more research, what I have was not even close to what I had paid for. They gave me highlights vs balayage, it’s too light at the top so it doesn’t even blend in. They also charged me an extra $100 for my length and they cut off what they charged me for. I’m not too thrilled with the aftermath considering I was a newbie. Just won’t come back here.

I had a haircut a few weeks ago with Martha, and I'm extremely satisfied! My hair was very long and hadn't been styled since before Covid. Martha spent ample time talking with me to learn about my preferences and my hair care routine. She was very friendly and easy to talk with. I agreed with her recommendation and have received lots of compliments on my haircut!

Horrible experience at Charles Ifergan Deerfield. I just moved from the city and was looking for a cut/dry. I found a Groupon and they up-charged me significantly for long hair. The fine print says there may be an extra charge but I wasn't expecting $60+ dollars?! The customer service made me feel very uncomfortable...I mean, just look at the responses from the owner on the negative reviews. No accountability, just attacks on any negative feedback. Haircut wasn't even that great. Snobby without talent is not a salon I will be visiting in the future. Very unprofessional.

Absolutely horrible not only racist they don’t know how to deal with even partially curly hair absolutely horrible no customer service no good technicians. Definitely a no for me my hair came out puffy and horribly blow dried.

Drove from Wisconsin to visit this salon for the first time and it did not disappoint. My stylist Ivy was so friendly and gave me an amazing haircut! Will be returning in the future.

I've been going to this salon for many years. I absolutely love the staff, everybody that works there is so friendly. The expertise of the colorists and stylists is top notch. I always LOVE my hair when I leave there. Currently Christopher does my color, he's fantastic and so talented! Fun to chat with too. My cut is done by Rachel, she listens to what you want and does a great job getting it right...the way you asked! She is very kind and professional. The prices are consistent with most other salons. It's a nice neighborhood salon with parking, which is helpful. They offer nice touches, like coffee, tea or iced tea, and water. It's a comfortable and relaxing environment. You can book online, which is convenient. Or call, they are very helpful with coordinating appointments.Services: Hair highlighting

Just started using this salon and was absolutely thrilled. I am a "hair" person and haven't been happy with my color and cut since I moved to the suburbs After checking with Yelp decided to try Lilliana for color and Nina for cut. I can't remember the last time my hair looked so great. I get compliments so often on the cut and the beautiful color. This is my dream salon. Thks to both Lilliana and Nina. You are the best!!!!!!!

Disappointed with my hair. Bought a Groupon and they added 50.00 more for my hair length which wasn't stated when I came in. Went back twice to get it fixed. Very nice staff but had to go to another place to get the balage color fixed. Cost me more with a Groupon than had I gone elsewhere. Again kind staff but!!!!

This is the second times I’ve been here to get my hair color and highlights by Alicia The first time their services are good. Colors came out nice the first time. Today is the second time i came in to get my hair color and highlights. I also came with a picture to show Alicia the style i want this time. After washing my hair the first time the base color came out way lighter than how i wanted it to be. I asked her to tone it down to the color in the picture i showed her. She did it for me but as the same time her appointment came in. After she finished putting the color on the roots, she asked me to seat and wait 30mins. After 30mins she washed my hair, and asked me to blow dry my hair by myself. I didn’t feel good already. I asked her the appointment i make for color and highlights doesn’t come with hair style? She said No! It’s ok I understand. But at least she needs to blow dry my hair to see how the color turn out before taking the next client. I never had a hair dyed service without a blow dry service comes along. I felt uncomfortable for paying for the service that i know It won’t be lower than $350 and i have to blow dry my own hair after washed. I just paid and nice enough left her a tip. I went home blew dry my hairs and straighten them. The color came out uneven. Some spots are lighter. Look like i have a porker dots hair of blond and brown ?♀️. Katie did my color a few times at this location and she was awesome. Great listener and very skilled in balayage. I'm so sad to hear she left the salon. Does anyone know where she is working now? If so, please PM me. Thank you!
