Called the Deer Creek Casey’s to order a large taco pizza and 8 piece boneless wings. No one answered the phone as I called twice. I was prompted by an auto attendant to order online. I reluctantly did and my credit card was charged $28+. I didn’t receive a reply email and the order pick up time was 6:41 p.m.I arrived at that time and approached the kitchen staff notifying them of my order. The young man in back told me it was almost done. Two other young men and and older man who were wearing Casey’s uniforms were in the restaurant. As I watched, it was evident the kitchen was overwhelmed with orders, but the three uniformed employees weren’t helping the cook. The older cashier and cook began arguing back and forth about how behind they were, and the cook was accosted about making pizza without gloves on. The employees were openly mocking the public for calling and not taking the hint they weren’t taking anymore orders because no one was answering the phone. Twenty minutes into my wait, the cook asked me if I ordered and paid on line, which I did. He told me that I’d have to pay for this pizza and I’d be given a voucher for a free pizza. He didn’t take the time to explain what the problem was as he returned to the kitchen I asked for an ETA on the pizza and was told it will “be done soon” as before.” As I watched as pizzas were moving through the oven and mine wasn’t in the oven 30 minutes into my wait, I needed to leave due to a recurring medical condition. No one was at the front of the store so I couldn’t notify them of my departure and inability to return. This store needs leadership. The older man running the cash register, who I assume is an assistant manager, has no business being in charge of anyone as it’s obvious he doesn’t no how to. The young men in the store need to be mentored and coached and shown “what right looks like.”Everyone in the store had the opportunity to rally as a team and help solve a major problem which only one person was actively trying to resolve.I’ll be back as this is the closest Casey’s for me and I love taco pizza. Please don’t make me call and have the charge on my credit card refunded. Please just do it.

Ordered a small pepperoni pizza. 23 minute eta with a ready time of 5:08. Showed up at 5:20- because they are always late on orders, and it wasn’t even made! They claimed it had burnt, but yet they weren’t even making a new one- so what was the real issue?! Very frustrating when you are on a time limit! Won’t be ordering from them again- I’ll go to Mackinaw from now on.

The employees are wonderful and deserving of 5 stars however the fact that you now have to prepay for gas ruins it for me. I went in to fill my truck up and it happened to be lunch time and they were very busy. I had to wait in line almost 10 minutes to prepay for a fill up that I did no know how much it would exactly cost. So I over paid and then had to go back in and wait another 5 minutes to get my change. So all together it was over 20 minutes to fill up with fuel. I understand that there are people out there not paying for their gas but I just can’t believe that with only 4 pumps to watch(2 stations) that there is not a better way to police this than to make there customers prepay and turn a 5 minute transaction into 15 or 20. There is nothing “convenient “ about that. It seems that the great things about living in small town rural America are slowly but surely being taken away. Very sad.

7pm mon-fri, champion labs across the street goes on lunch break. Why is the hot bar empty, no food not pizza? In the last few years service has gotten worse. Who will answer this inquiry?
