Our business is in its second generation of family ownership, under Sid Palmer. Palmer Tire & Auto Service was founded in 1982 by Sid's dad, Robert Palmer, who wanted to open an automotive service center founded on trusting relationships and taking care of the customer first. This turned out to be a good business model that fostered growth and led to the inclusion of sons Sid and Brian Palmer. In 2002, Sid accepted the role of service manager and his brother, Brian, moved to sales and accounting. In September 2015, Brian became the overseer of another shop.Original founder Robert remains an active part in the business operation. Today, the family continues to provide automotive service with a personal touch.
