I called Jim, told him my vehicle had a warning light to 'CHECK ENGINE', the day before I was leaving town to drive several hundred miles. Jim told me to bring it to him asap and he would try to help. Drop vehicle off at 10:30 a m and Jim called at 4 p m and had diagnosed problem and replaced part and the 'CHECK ENGINE' light was no longer on. I'v known Jim 30 plus years and he has always tried to help everyone depending on various concerns. Thank you Jim.

We were stranded in Decatur on our way home to St. Louis, MO. in our Honda Odyssey loaded up with our stuff... and no idea who to call to fix it. So we called on Jesus first and He lead us to Jim's Auto Service. Jim is a hard working good man dedicated to fully helping his customers. He got us a rental after we couldn't find one with cars available, he picked up our van and had it fixed the same day. He is a rare breed and we say thank you so much for helping us in our time of need...

I was on my way out of town with my child, all the sudden my car made this loud noise in the back end of my car!! I called they got me in right away to see what the problem was! Turned out to be an expensive problem that was going to take me a few weeks to save the money to get it fixed! Obviously I still needed to get to work and my son to school. They went out of their way to make it safe enough for my family to buy me some time to get the money!! When I got the money they got my car right in and fixed it. They also looked at my exhaust that decided to break a couple days before my appointment and was able to refer me to someone that could fix it. I can’t say enough good things about this business! They definitely got a customer for life!!!! I can’t thank you guys enough!!!Services: Exhaust

You can't get any better than a true family owned shop! Father and son that did a wonderful job not only fixing my car, but finding other serious issues that would have kept me off the road as well! Easily one of the best shops in the area!

Jim is a great guy. My daughter in law needed to have her car fixed . Took it in and he did what he needed to fix. His son also works with him. I live in Chicago and it's a pleasure talking with him. I haven't meet him but he is honest and respectful
