We purchased a vehicle in October and have had nothing but problems with it. It's been in the shop serveral times, now transmission is still slipping which they were told in the beginning that it was slipping and the mechanic there said it was a miss fire making it feel like the transmission was slipping. Now byrider is saying that nothing was documented in the beginning. They will lie lie lie. On top of they want to charge 50.00 diagnostic fee too see what's wrong with it. They will tell you in the beginning everything is covered and glorify you into a vehicle and once your in it, that's it. You'll have nothing but problems and issues. And some of the staff members there are hateful and rude. I recommend going else where because this place is horrible.

From the very start of being forced into a rushed sale because I was desperate to being sold a car with pre-existing repair issues that were promised to be fixed and all the 7 service repair appointments with the existing repair issue still not being fixed to the rude start members the entire experience was a nightmare and I ended up dropping out of the contract to purchase because of these things with no money refunded. They took advantage of a single widower and if I hadn't been smart enough I would've been stuck. They will undoubtedly sell it to someone else without doing anything to it and screw someone else

Awful place to deal withI got a car in June 2023 and test drove the car. On the test drive the check engine light came on so I took it to AutoZone. I let Byrider know. They made an appointment, but assured me the car was fine. My appointment was been canceled because by rider moved from Springfield to Decatur a new appointment was made for September. I took the car on a trip in July for my daughter’s birthday. We broke down halfway to Florida with three kids. Called the car place. They acted like there was nothing they could do even though they knew about the issue and nothing was clearly checked before they sold me the vehicle like it states in the contract.I wasn’t able to drive the car since July, but they still called every two weeks to get their car payment (in which they got) even had the nerve to ask me why I was late on some car payments even though I had to take Ubers everywhere because my car didn’t drive, and I should not have been paying car payments on a car that doesn’t drive. Car finally goes into the shop after two weeks of me not having a rental or anything I call ..the car hadn’t even been looked at yet. After about another week they had ordered a bunch of parts to put on the car. After about another week they called and said it was the transmission is set for two more weeks before I went in to talk to someone and eventually they gave me a rental car with a $300 deposit, so I’m coming out of pocket again.. then as soon as I go pick up the car two weeks later (3 days ago) they begin to call me for my car payment again just like every two weeks (even though my car hasn’t ran since July) ..funny thing is the check engine light came back on and there’s a noise now coming out of my vehicle.I want corporate to contact me ASAP

When I walked in the front door I did not know were to go, the front desk lady pointed me in the right direction. On top of that Shelby was so patient with me well I debated between cars. As I am in the process of getting my car, this building is full of laughter and joy. I'm looking forward to this journey with my car, oh plus I can build my credit what a plus. Thank you for all the help.

Sales team was amazing I really felt like a valued customer when I purchased my car. My down payment was $4000 and I pay a note every other week. Started financing the car only two months ago and it’s been in the shop 3 times first problem was the breaks then a couple weeks later my air compressor went out had to wait 3 weeks to get that fixed now only 2 months into financing the car my catalytic converter has went out and it’s not covered under warranty. I’m so upset I work and it’s a necessity that I have a properly running car.

Horrible service and they have zero respect when talking with people. I’ve dealt with the Springfield location and had little to no problems but this location totally different story. It’s an old hag named Debbie that’s in finance and that thang is horrible disrespectful and so much I could say. Will be giving them there car back soon and moving on to better business

They instal a mechanism on your car so you cant start it if you miss your payment. This wouldnt be a problem except that it draws power from the battery even when the car is off. If i dont start my battery daily it will not start at all becuase of this mechanism. I have had it tested and this mechanism is drawing power even while the car is off. Also the insurance i had through them was not payed on time even though i always payed my bill on time. Go any where else to get your car and youll get a better deal.

Scummy, and absolutely not a company you need to get a car from. Had them work on my wheel assembly. And not even a couple months later tire falls off and crushes the front driver side. Absolute nightmare to work with. Do not recommend!!!!!!!!!!!
