Been with boost like 6years always been decent phone service wise custom service has never been their forte, recently I went to upgrade my phone, Bailey I believe her name was just asked for my social and ID she then told me they couldn’t verify my identity and that she’d never seen that before so I left the more I thought about it the more confused and bothered I was. I called the next day same girl I explained this to her she gave me the customer service number to smart pay said the couldn’t call them which was a lie there was a dealer option but because boost obviously does not care about keeping customers she gave me the number then did not even tell me about their(boost) customer service being down for over 2 weeks, very shady and unprofessional. So needless to say I got rid of boost and was not to able to transfer my number I’d had 5/6yrs because their customer service was down! What customer service is down over 2 weeks and counting? I had to find all this out on my own no help whatsoever from Bailey at boost js ✌️

This store like so many others is Shady in their business practices. On 9/27/2022 Connor tried to charge us $10 for a Sim card that is actually free and an additional $10 to swap phones in the store which also has always been free. The employees literally are just standing around playing on their phones but I was told they now charge a fee due to overhead lol. How ridiculous and laughable. $20 that the employee would just pocket if I had agreed to the scam. We have had a very rude female employee at this same location do this very thing to us before. If you happen to call around to other locations you'll be given a different price quote every single time because these fees are not set in policy by Boost. These stores are purposely overcharging for services that are free as a customer with the actual Boost company.I was pushed over to Boost from Virgin Mobile and have never liked it. Boost is one of the worst phone service providers around. The service area is limited. The data simply doesn't work more often than not. The customer service in stores and over the phone is almost always rude and not helpful in any way. Boost also refuses to give customers their own account numbers in an attempt to prevent them from switching their service to a different provider. You literally have to go into a store and have the employee call customer service and get it for you which is a huge waste of time

Switched over to this carrier for phone service and I must say it's very good a lot cheaper than I was paying through Smart talk so far I've had no complaints good reception good plan unlimited text and data highly recommend
