I liked furniture and was assisted in purchasing fine EXCEPT was verbally told delivery would be mid nov (I purchased Sept 16). Then was texted two weeks later it was on time and would be here in 3 - 4 months! I questioned it as I didn’t want an empty living room during holidays but was told they wrote 20 - 24 weeks. I gave them 900 dollars down and now I requested to cancel as I went out and found the furniture available now. I was told as per contract they would be charging me 30% to cancel. So they are going to charge me over $500 for NOTHING. It wasn’t a special order or a request for someone to be constructing one. Apparently this is how they are staying in business without having to sell anything. This is not the first encounter with them saying a delivery date then pushing it out. And I’m tired of them using COVID as their excuse. It’s my money and they should return it as they gave me no product for it. Would you pay a restaurant for meals you didn’t receive?

I haven't received my furniture yet, but the costumer service has been outstanding! I went to this location versus the one close to my home because of how knowledgeable and upfront the staff was. First I talked to Kim who helped me check on the items I wanted to verify how long it would be for delivery and place my order over the phone. Then I was helped by Q, he was able to guide me in the right direction when I order a recliner that I found out would be too big for my space and helped me change products. He also gave me the papers to sign from my phone order when I came in(from 2 hours away) to sign for my purchase and showed me where to go to take my little to the bathroom after a long drive. Finally I spoke with Dan, he was able to cancel an item for me. I was panicking because of the size of my room and I wanted to order what I knew would fit instead of being stuck with too much furniture. He was able to process the return (2days after initial purchase) and issue a credit. Then THANKED me for my business. I hated canceling but know I can order more once the size of the furniture is visible in person. He help me with what would fit and I wasn't guilted into keeping my initial order. All over the phone! I haven't received my items yet, but my first shipment is scheduled to arrive 8 days after I placed my order! Such a good turn around time considering how backed up places have been!

The salesman was pleasant but they are overpriced on their extended warranty, delivery, and removal of existing furniture.I bought a reasonably priced quality (Flexsteel) recliner from Wrights in Taylorville primarily because of a realistic price for the extended warranty, price for delivery (from Taylorville to Decatur $25.00), and they had no problem removing and disposing of two pieces of unwanted furniture at no cost. The sales person, Mrs. Brown, was pleasant, knowledgeable and listened to our requirements.

I had a wonderful 2 day experience with Elijah, a qualified salesperson at Ashley Homestore. Elijah was patience, patient and knowledgeable. Elijah did his best in my opinion to get my husband and I the best prices on all our furniture. I will be definitely go back. I will be a loyal customer! Way to go Elijah. I ordered over $10,000 worth of furniture from the store on July 4th, 2020 and I finally received the entire order on January 23, 2021. To say my experience with this store was bad is an understatement. From the salesperson who admitted she was hungover when selling my furniture to the lack of care from the employees as well as the management/owner, this whole experience was awful. I highly recommend that nobody shop from this store. The staff ignored my phone calls and avoided me when I tried contacting to see what was going on with my order. They made very little concessions for my case. It felt like high-way robbery and they would not own up to their wrong-doings. This store is awful and I will never ever shop from them ever again.

I enjoy walking into a place where you are recognized and acknowledged by name! I have shopped at Ashley Furniture for years. They have great quality furniture and other home decor. they are very respectful! The manager and team I met tonight 12/29/2020 went above and beyond to satisfy me! I am forever thankful!
