Earlier this year I found a suitcase full of items to purchase. As I am a regular out of state customer I have accumulated and used points to obtain discounts. I proceeded in doing so -NOT! The system was not operating so I was given the option to pay full price or return another day. I made a couple of suggestions to no avail. I left empty handed as returning was not possible due to my travel schedule and inconvenience I have not heard a word from them so do not feel I am a valued customer. So much for the points I leave behind and the joy I once felt there. Home in Alaska I am uncluttering my inbox.

I took my Babylock machine in for servicing on August 31, 2022. I was told they were a month out on getting machines serviced, but that was OK with me. I called on Oct. 5 to check on progress, was told it would be another week and a half. I called again in the middle of the week almost 4 weeks later, in November, and was told it would maybe be done that Saturday. It wasn't, so I called again Nov. 22 and said I was going to get the machine since I needed it. I was then told the machine was "on the bench" being worked on right then and might be done the next day. I was busy the next day (day before Thanksgiving) but went Nov. 25 and got my machine, after them having it for 3 months. I have taken the same machine other places for service and had it back in 2 weeks. I was told they had a lot of machines come in for work, but a 3- month wait time is a little much. The staff I talked with were very nice, but the service department can stand some improvement.

... so that's all I need to know. I stayed in the car on the lot this time while she browsed & bought (our second visit to Threads of Time during trips to Danville); but my constantly quilting wife was very happy with the selection & quality of products, and says the staff were very helpful & knowledgeable. She also mentioned that customer face coverings were enforced, and that the staff all wore face shields. Hopefully the next time we visit, none of that will be necessary.

This place is amazing! There are thousands of bolts of fabric pleasantly displayed. Notions and patterns are presented throughout the store. The unique feature of the shop is the 36 bed retreat center connected to it. Quilters can shop during the day and sew all night!

I visit frequently, mostly because of the Retreat. So many friendly guests and staff. I came alone and soon had dozens of friends. Wonderful fabric and thread selection. Expert help. I'm planning a trip later this month because I'm about to start a complicated quilt the the 8 X 8 design walls will be a big bonus for that project. Every time I go, I see new improvements. Cynthia and Harris have obviously poured major money into improving an already outstanding quilt shop.

This is a one stop shop for quilters. Not only can you buy anything you need for quilting, embroidery, or serging, but you can also stay there in the comfortable beds and beautiful retreat rooms. Also, the work areas are large, with plenty of space for sewing machines, irons, design walls. The owners are incredible people as are the staff!!!!!!! They are knowledgeable as well as helpful. And it is FUN!!!!!!

I have been very happy with my visits and over nights at T of T with all owners! My daughter and I recently met there (half way between our homes) and we were welcomed and I was delighted to see friends from Indiana and Illinois and catch up with them. Wish I was closer to take more classes.

Sadly Bill and Missy have sold. The new owners are abrupt and pushy. Took my ma hind there and had to direct Harris where to look for potential issues. Lots of staff turn over. Overall not the homey place it used to be. No warm greeting or we’ve missed you. Sad happening.
