Had my boat there last season 2023 for the in/out dry dock service..I had no problem with it except bird dropping on my boat covers from being in the house.. dock hand people where great..help us out alot.. now the bad .. when the season ended I had to get my boat out and put it on my trailer. The boat house people from the service department hooks up your trailer to there John Deere tractor and that's how they get it out of the water. So when they were loading my boat onto my trailer. The service guy couldn't get it centered.. he was getting pissed off about it..( big freaking hurry)when he finally got it loaded on trailer there was alot green mock from the water on my boat ,I ask him if I can use there pressure washer just to rise it off so it don't dry and stick to the boat.and he said no you cant .. but if you want it clean you have to pay 20.00 a hr and use the wash rack..all I want to rise it off and he made a big deal about it. So now I got in my truck and I ask him if he can spot me and line me up with my trailer . He didn't say anything and walk back in the shop.so I started to do it myself and I smashed my plate/bumper. That guy really treated me badly.if you hate your job find another one then. Don't take it out on people . I was in shock after paying 3k for 5 months for keeping my boat there.. and you treated me and won't help ...... I really felt like just another number.. about a month ago.they email me about doing the in/out again . I told the manager about last October when I pick up my boat about the guy that help me and She told me that she would talk to her team about it and get back to me. And never did.. now I know it's only about money now . I was going to give them another chance but heard nothing back from her. So we moved on to another place.

Originally my boat was at a different marina, after being told they could not take my boat out of the water I turned to Chicago boat house. What an unbelievable experience, customer service was amazing, timeliness was amazing, and my boat out of the water and delivered. This is now going to be the marina I use as well as recommend. Thank you Chicago boat house for alleviating my stress during a holiday week!

Not new to boating or new to The Boathouse. Been using there service for almost 15 years. The new management/ownership change a few years back was so positive it made a very nice setting and going concern business better, the best. Being in the equipment business myself and using the "dry stack" service, I understand how important careful operation of the fork lifts are to the physical handling of the boats launched and placed in the dry stack system. Andy and Ken both did an exceptional job operating the equipment and launching boats. We launched most week ends and as often during the week, so our experience here is broad. We also used all the other services too, gas, dock store and parts. It was nice to walk in to a Correct Craft Nautique Dealer (parts department) and have the right parts handed to you over the counter. My wife, daughters and granddaughters always enjoyed the gas dock teams friendly and pleasant service all while helping us fuel up. Thanks to Amy and Don and the store crew. Hope 2023 ends well and you close the year up strong and have a prosperous 2024. Thank you.

The Boat House Chicago is a great marina! I purchased my boat from them at the beginning of the season and had a very good experience. I recently worked with Melanie in their service department and had a great experience! She kept me informed through the service process and had the work completed in a very timely manner. I am very pleased with the Boat House Chicago and I highly recommend!!!!!

We are brand new to the lake and have limited boating experience. These were just the people we needed to meet. They are extremely nice and professional and have done everything they said they would. We bought a great boat with the help of our salesperson Colt. He came to our house and personally assured our lift was all set up and just right. He even gave us some extended driving instruction and trained us how to park!! A big help. Business manager Brandon helped us through the entire deal and was a pleasure to work with. We've also dealt with Todd in service and Amy for storage, both great! You can't go wrong dealing with them...A+++. Highest recommendation.

Thanks to The Boat House for a great buying experience. We love our new Godfrey Monaco and couldn’t be happier with the whole process. Colt was great at helping us pick out the best boat for us. And Brandon was incredible with answering all our questions about the boat and the buying process. His patience and availability to make sure we had all the info we needed made for a very pleasant purchasing experience.

Wanted to take a minute to thank the staff and Don Schurr ll the general manager at the boat house Chicago Fox Lake. Noticed one of my fluid reservoirs was empty and had no idea what it was and could not find answers anywhere else. Don saved the day by taking the time to help resolve the issue by me just showing him pictures of my concern and he was able to explain what the issue was and what I needed to do. We currently don’t use this marina but will definitely be looking into it next season, class acts. Thanks

Great team! I highly recommend The Boat House. I experienced engine issues and received support from the entire team in my time of need, and more importantly my guests. The Boat House is a positive memory of what was a stressful day and I am very thankful.

Recently purchased a Godfrey pontoon from The Boat House. Referred by a couple friends to COLT IN SALES. He was awesome!! The whole experience from picking out what we wanted all the way to delivery was top notch!BRANDON in the finance dept was smooth and made the purchase easy and simple.COLT has gone above and beyond what was expected and my wife and I appreciate everyone at The Boat House getting us on the water in time for an awesome Memorial Day weekend!!See you on the water!

I worked with Colt and Brandon. From start to finish, my experience was extremely positive. The team here has great communication and makes the process smooth and easy. There was small error on my paperwork that I may have never noticed but they took the initiative to let me know, we redid the paperwork and it saved me a good amount of money in the end. In my opinion, there is no substitute for honesty, so I really respect the way they do business.
