So I just shopped at Petco in Crystal lake . I witnessed a groomer being extremely mean to white small dog while she groomed him/her ! The dog was crying while she groomed their paws and she got mad at the dog while I was watching on the other side ! She kept grooming while the dog was crying in pain; This is unacceptable, I did let the other associates know and they called the manager; not exactly sure what happened afterwards but the workers didn’t seem concerned ! Please don’t take your pets there ; I would be furious if someoen treated my dog this way, clearly that groomer shouldn’t be a groomer !

I took my puppy to the groomer, this was his first time at Petco as everywhere else was booked. After going to pick him up, I found FIVE cuts, on his stomach, genitals, and leg. NOBODY told me my dog was cut. He was traumatized. 2 days later, he keeps peeing, probably because his skin is irritated from all the cuts. Also, he was supposed to be cut medium, but was cut very short instead.

Grooming was good but my dog was traumatized by too many dogs being scheduled at the same time. At least 6 larger dogs arrived within minutes of each other. This has never been the case on previous visits.

Nice store. I saw some treats for my puppy half off. So I proceeded to buy them. They said I had to sign up first with phone and email to get half off. So I did.

Melissa did a great job with our dog. He was not very excited about his experience and she worked with him the best she could. Doggo was not into anything paw/face related or the blow dryer. He enjoyed his bath and it sure shows. His coat is smooth, soft and beautiful. Melissa even chose to use a brightening shampoo on him for his white parts that were dingy. Overall, he was happy to get out of there and is loving all the attention. We have another appt set up and will try to see if we can get his nails done this time. Im thankful for her patience with our pup.

Appointment at 1 pm on Saturday. The 3 were very friendly to animal customers and human (not cause they had to). Very helpful, informative, and efficient. Thank you for the great job on our furry one.

The groomer provided a recommendation for our dog's heavy coat of fur that resulted in a much better outcome instead of the usual haircut. She was patient, helpful and friendly. Thanks, we'll be back!
