My least favorite store. Layout of parking lot is ridiculous, inside just as bad. Bakery, deli & meat selections are a good draw but pricing of groceries is misleading. "sale" labeling applies to Members and still often higher than competitors. Regular pricing is just absurd. They do have a wide variety of most products, I'll give credit for that.
Been a careful shopper for many years, I know the game.

Whenever I shop there, I manage to find what I'm searching for. If not, there's always someone around to help you. This has been my experience. I also like how well kept it is.

Like others have said, this place has really gone downhill. It's no different than a regular Kroger store now.
2 cashiers, on a weekend, with long lines at self checkout, mostly because their machines malfunction and you have to wait for someone to unfudge it for you. Honestly? For the prices they charge, your groceries should be scanned AND gift wrapped for you! And have now been sold spoiled shrimp and deli ham. Won't be going back.

The only store in illinois that wont accept a passport for identification. Racism at its finest then i showed my drivers license and it was valid! Make it make sence!

Use to be a great place to shop. Once it was bought by Kroger this place is no longer discernable from a metro market or pick n save. The same line up of low quality products. They are also discriminatory at this particular location. I am mexican and while using self checkout I have had my shopping cart locked on me several times while trying to exit the store each time showing a valid receipt to the employee that comes to check my bags. It is embarrassing to say the least when there is a sea of white faces watching you while your bags are being searched. Never coming here again.

Deals.... yes but Kroger/Albertsons maybe be able to get the prices down. ???

The place sucks not only to shop but also to work. I was fired for being sick. I came in and gave shelly a doctor's note saying i won't be able to come in till im feeling better. she asked if i would be coming in that day and i said not i dont work that day. She then asked then why are you giving this to me i said because im sick i wont be able to come in for a few days. She said ok so your not coming in the next day i said no im not. She said ok. I then invite my friend over from work to help me while i was sick because it was so bad at time i couldn't get out of bed. He then says they she was telling people at work that i was being severely rude and pretending to be sick. He also said they suspended me. then the next time i went into work shelly asked why i was there. I said because im scheduled for today. She says no your fired for 4 no call no shows after i told them i wouldn't be coming in.
this place sucks but if you're desperate for a job they hire anyone they asks so yeah.
