Pulled our daughter out after 1 day enrolled there. Sent FOUR emails to the owner Ed about our issues and did not receive one response back. Unacceptable and ridiculous for an owner of a daycare to ignore concerns and emails from a parent. Heard nothing but good reviews but I would say coming from another daycare and trying out this one...no thanks to say the least.

It is a wonderful daycare! Very spacious, bright and super clean. Everyone who works there is very nice and helpful. Ms. Amie and Ms. Michelle are so kind and patient with every child. My son loves this place and I absolutely recommend it!

Zero stars if i could .My son was bullied and hit by a kid in the 3-5 year old class , and an incident report was never made nor was i notified , i had to get it from my 3 year old because he was afraid to go and he's never been afraid to go to daycare or anywhere ! My son is also very well mannered sweet bubbly kid shy sometimes but very respectful loving.I'm very upset i took him out of there care ,this happened couple times i said something to the teacher and she was like oh yes that happened we will keep them apart but then it happens again and my son tells me ,not them no report made ! my son stated he doesn't want to go he's scared the boy hurt him again , i talked to director she seemed surprised said that an incident report should have been made and me notified (well of Course) and apologize to me .then i get a statement for me to pay for the week i took him out for good and was thanksgiving week ! I'm very upset my son wasn't safe and the protocols where ignored and now i have to pay for the week i didn't have my son there because i quit my job and took him out to stay home with him until i can find another daycare that will abide by rules and my son feels safe in !!! Not right I'm absolutely disgusted . Now I'm skeptical of taking him to daycare even . I'm going to just wait until i come up from the waiting list after Christmas to the daycare i took my daughter to when she was young never had an issue there in mchenry .

First, if you have a slightly difficult child, this is not the place for you. (We have foster kids with trauma that results in behaviors). They placed a DCFS hotline call because our foster son had a bug bite on his forehead. The call grossly misrepresented his histamine reaction and stated he had bruises and scratches under his eyes, which was false. Resulted in a DCFS investigator and a sheriff showing up at my door at 11:30 pm demanding to see our children due to the nature of "injuries". So confused, I asked why they would come to my house for a bug bite. The investigator was equally confused and said they had a report that he had an open wound, black eyes and was unrecognizable. I have photographic evidence to support what I am saying. These people are dangerous and don't understand that they are messing with people's lives just to get vulnerable children out of their daycare.

This review is long long overdue!! I really cannot tell you how much of an impact KRK has had on my family. We have been with KRK since my son was 1+ after experiencing numerous other centers. My son is now 7 (1st grade in remote and b4 and after care) and my daughter who attends is 4yrs old. KRK is seriously a second family for my children. They treat my children like they are an extension of their families and are soooo accommodating. Every time we call Cheryl the Director to make a request or to inquire about anything, she is warm, welcoming and puts us at ease with every single contact. Mr. Adrian in the gym is phenomenal with my son, who often requires extra attention. Whenever we request assistance with helping my son in any way at all, we get a very cheerful "it's taken care of!". I called today to tell Mr. Adrian that my son is distressed because he still struggles with tying his shoe laces. His response was "you have no problem. It's taken care of!". My daughter is in Ms. Vicki's 4 yr old class and she has taken time to fix her braid up so she doesn't look disheveled after nap time. I'm telling you, these people are really amazing. I know my children will someday be too old to require their care but I will never forget KRK and will always see them as second family. P.s. Ed the owner is pretty amazing too. He's always flexible and ensures that his families are happy.Regarding the old Director, Danielle that was referenced in some of the negative comments. She was the Director for about a year in 2018 prior to when Cheryl started. She was totally incompetent and was dismissed after about a year. Things definitely were not as peachy when she was there!!

Went here when I was younger for years, and while we did fun activities occasionally, had some unforgettable field trips, and made some life-changing friends, the staff are extremely strict and the place has security cameras everywhere. One staff member used the cameras as a threat to me which was ridiculous. But overall, I mostly enjoyed my times here and often reminisce.

LOVE Kids R Kids! From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were welcomed with open arms. The administration staff is AMAZING at what they do and answer questions quickly and professionally. The teaching staff is WONDERFUL at addressing needs and concerns when they arise. The kitchen staff is flexible with our family's dietary needs and asks questions to clarify foods that can be provided to our child. We have continued to have an exceptional experience with KRK and we know we have our child in the most capable of hands and hearts to help us raise an extraordinary little person.

We started with Private Kindergarten and Ms. Grace was amazing. We now utilize after school care and a better place for your child is not out there. They love our son and provide excellent care and learning. Kids R Kids built a strong learning foundation for our child that has carried him in to Elementary School.

First off this is the cleanest daycare you will ever experience. If you really want your kids to start out right, then this is the learning experience for you. The preschool is great! A special shout out to Ms. Becky and Ms. Lisa! For Private kindergarten Ms. Grace far exceeds your expectations. Not only is my child learning everything she will know for school and more, but she can count up to 40 in Spanish. They teach some sign language as well. My child is doing great with high frequency words and site words, patterns, beginning reading as so much more. Ms. Grace teaches children about sharing and caring. She puts a huge emphasis on working together in" Harmony". She doesn't only tell the kids that she shows them what it means. Allot of schools can say they do this or that, but this school when they say it they mean it and you will see results.
