I see Janina every year and she gives me advice for the following year as well. I cannot imagine getting help from anyone else. She is so thorough and tries to help me as best as possible!

I paid $250 to have my taxes done by a professional and the person working with me didn’t even ask me all of the questions about my information. I had forgotten about my form from my college, and I had to have my taxes amended due to this. Now I’m not going to see a return until likely around JUNE. I’ve tried emailing with questions regarding my taxes and this issue and I haven’t seen any responses. Kind of ridiculous to have spent so much money to have my taxes done by a professional and to have them messed up.

First year I came in, taxes were $250, with claiming my son for the fiscal year. The next year, $350, without claiming him. This year, $480 with claiming my son. And don't forget the preparer filed for business taxes on a side hustle I had to start in order to make ends meet. The cost of preparing the taxes for this were almost as much as I actually brought in, and she never bothered to tell me that there were costs associated with this until after I had signed the papers to file, which is when they told me the final cost to prepare everything. Talk about sticker shock. 1/5 of my tax return went to you, rather than back into my pocket

We dropped off our tax documents at this location on 3/13. We went weeks without a word. No emails, no response to the emails we sent to the man assigned to us, no calls on either of our phones. My husband has a voicemail that is not set up due to an issue with his phone. After waiting weeks with zero response to emails, we contacted this branch to ask where our paperwork and our tax return was. We were told that everything had been done since 3/16. We explained we were frustrated because no one called us, or returned any of the emails we sent. They stated on the phone that they "left us multiple voicemails." This is impossible, because they never called either of our phones and it is literally impossible to leave a message on my husband's phone. They just totally lied to our faces to cover their mistake. After a few phone calls, they magically told us to come in to the store front to sign paperwork so they could move forward with the return. They tried to tell us AGAIN that they "left multiple voicemails" while we were in person, we confronted them with our phone logs and we asked them to stop lying and take responsibility for their mistake. This woman literally threw our paperwork at us and said "we're refusing to file for you, good luck finding someone else to do it". It's APRIL and we dropped this work off over a month ago. We have never in our lives witnessed such unprofessional behavior. All she had to do was apologise for the mistake on their end. We did not need any of her luck, because it took us about 45 MINS to file via TurboTax. My husband has been coming to H&R block for years to file his taxes, but we will absolutely not be back and will be calling the supervisor in the morning. This woman should be absolutely ashamed and embarrassed of her unprofessional and unacceptable behavior.Long story short, don't waste your time or money. TurboTax does the trick without the nightmare and horrible experience.

Had my taxes done at this location for the first time. We had more complicated taxes last year due to buying and selling houses. Had no problems getting my taxes done. Was told what my return would be, got back less money. Asked my tax preparer if they follow the corporate statement of giving customers their fee back if they get less money back. Got no response. Called corporate 3 times now and still haven't gotten any money back. Spoke to the franchise owner that said I'd get a check in the mail, never did. The office offered me 1/2 off my tax preparation fee next year (I'd never use them again). I also got a lot of push back from the office staff saying it was a hard year, the office staff had a lot of personal and family issues going on, I understand, as it was a hard year for everyone. They have no idea what goes on in my personal life and to undervalue my questions and concerns just doesn't seem right to me. Overall, it wound up being a terrible experience and I have no plans to use this location or any other In the future.

Great service and done quick. Drop off service is the best but being open only 2 days and 1 day is only til 3pm. Has made it near impossible to pick up my completed taxes. Still have not got them picked up yet due to them never being open.
