We went to Grand Appliance for the first time to look at washer and dryers. We were met by salesman Don Von Ebers he was very helpful in showing us all the different brands. Very friendly and made it easy to choose new washer dryer and help with setting up delivery and install. Would recommend Grand and DON TO EVERYONE ! Tom and Cathy

After shopping at some other big box stores, I will not name I went into grand and let me tell you the service is excellent. The delivery was awesome!!!! Doug in the crystal store is such an awesome guy he's quick he has the ticket written up. You don't have to stand around. Trey was our delivery person and he's another one super nice guy. He brought our dryer hooked everything up. He even showed us how our previous one was installed incorrectly. Isn't that something after having it no wonder why it needed repairs all the time because it was never hooked up right!!! Grand has won me over

Save yourself just DON'T DO IT.....After 3 attempted deliveries I still do not have my appliance! Customer service is nice enough but more interested in blaming the manufacturer! Only willing to attempt in another 3-4 weeks or get your brand new appliance you paid full price repaired! I am now 2 months in and still without... Learn from my mistake and take your business elsewhere!

Our sales rep, James Fogarty, was great! Unfortunately, customer service is terrible. They screwed up our delivery 3 times for our double oven. They gave us the wrong date the first time, the second time they had the wrong range, the third time they came an hour and 10 minutes early outside of the given time, and the range was extremely damaged. This all happened the day before Christmas Eve, which put us in a horrible bind. We were planning on buying 3 more appliances from them, unfortunately, I do not trust them due to the poor delivery in customer service.

Nice selection of household appliances. Nice sales people. Their prices and fees they charge for installation could be lower. Yes, they're renovating, but feel they could do a better job keeping the place clean. The appliances were all covered in dirt and dust.

2nd full kitchen remodel in 8 years with the Crystal Lake store. At grand you get knowledge and personal attention but you also get the BEST pricing. For My remodels i quoted 2 big box stores and the "other" Appliance big "players. 8 years ago and now Grand had the best pricing along with tons if time ti explain each appliance pros/cons etc. Don Ebers has been my sales person both times . 8 years* says something about his range of knowledge and this is a career for him not a job like so many other stores/salespeople. I did my homework for you all . Use Grand and remember prices online aren't always the price...

I felt the salesperson could have been more personable. In the original sales pitch we were told with the purchase we would be getting a $150 rebate. After finding a better price at a competitor his tone changed and refused giving us the rebate just because he matched the price. We felt the salesperson could have been more professional and hospitable. I guess we were taking more of his commission away. After leaving we felt we should have gone to the competitor.

Awful, awful AWFUL customer service. Do not buy from here. Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot where they honor their extended warranties. We bought a Samsung Refrigerator here. The ice maker stopped working, the inside water pitcher leaks and cracked. When we moved the fridge, the rear wheel broke off and now we can’t move it back into place. We called Grand, they referred us to their extended warranty line. We called them, went through all the troubleshooting questions. They stated they’d call us within a couple of days to get repair man out. We waited 5 days, no text or email. We call again, they inform us that the wheel replacement is not covered under warranty. They never bothered to call or email to tell us this!! We personally go in, speak to a representative. They said a manager would get in contact with the warranty center and call us. WHAT A JOKE. No calls, no emails. They ghosted us. They do not honor their extended warranties and cannot take the time to follow up. We’ve NEVER had this problem with Home Depot. Don’t waste your time with these crooks . Go to Home Depot where they honor their warranties and grasp the simple concept of customer service.

Doug was our sales person who was explaining differences between laundry models as our questions were asked. Was a huge plus to have some of them plugged in to demo how they would look & work when choosing options. Many showrooms of other stores do not do that. Price point was better than competitive stores when it was all said & done.

I went to the Crystal Lake store to look for a washer and dryer. Don was my salesman and I told him I was looking at a GE set and a Whirlpool set. He said Whirlpool is made better and a sturdier machine. I explained I was bulky loads often as I foster animals. He told me the Whirlpool does a great job on bulky loads. He also told me they have much better service than the big box stores who do not service their appliance sales. My second load was a bulky load and the wash machine stopped in the middle of the wash cycle. Grand does not do repairs, Whirlpool had to send someone. The repair guy couldn't come out for a week. He indicated there was a faulty wire that caused issues in my model. I have since washed 5 bulky loads. 4 out of 5 times the wash machine stopped working. 2 times I hand drained and reset the washer myself. Now it is not working again and I keep getting voicemails from customer service and no return call.

Purchased a grill in May. Parts broke and had limited function. Called Grand for service and got nowhere. We are now in Mid September and I am still waiting for customer service and repair. Needless to say, I will never shop at Grand for anything ever again.Since posting this review and receiving the Grand response, I have heard nothing and have not received any parts. Cannot get through to customer service line due to overwhelming volume of calls. Big surprise. Left message, no response.

We were first time buyers at Grand Appliance. The experience was great, no pressure and our salesman Jim was very knowledgeable & helpful. Our wall unit & microwave combination oven needed replacement. They had a wide variety of value options. They made sure our choice fit the space & had the features we wanted. Warranty & installation was available & very reasonable. It was a seamless experience. All in all the best customer service we ever had buying appliances.
