“It is a nice, small and crowded gas station in Crystal Lake. I filled up my gas for $3.16/gallon on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025. I do my research and this was the cheapest gas in a decent range of gas stations. It was a decent enough and easy enough experience. In and out and I got my gas. Thank you! (Written 7-9-25)”

“Not brag, but it's two blocks from my house. The people that own and run it are awesome! It has a beer cooler, snacks, some hard liquor, reg. Gas, diesel, car wash, camp fire wood, bags of ice. They have a fairly decent selection to choose from. A+”

“Great prices on cigarettes. Fuel price is decent for the area. Windshield squeegees suck and they were not good the rubber blade was no good they need new ones last time I tried them all had no luck in getting the windows clean had to grab a bunch of the brown paper towels and wipe it all down, and they hardly ever have any fluid in their bins for the scrubbing side of the tool to work either. Otherwise they close early and open early.”

“High quality e85 here. Usually at least e70. There are many e85 pumps. Haven't been a customer long enough to see what it dips to over the winter. Beware of motorsports hating Mariano's customers. Maybe best to go at night. Not Shell's fault; they have been there long before CL let the Bougie Bodega open.”

“This BP did not clearly mark one of its machines as out of order, and I only realized it was non-functional after I had attempted to swipe my card several times.
Other stations I've been to have yellow covers over the pumps for non-functional pumps, and the BP on 14&176 would do well by me to invest in them.”

“Brand new store opened in 5/29/19. Nice friendly staff on hand to answer any questions and to direct you through the store. Gas station is out front. Enter by the main front doors and you will see several rows of stocked shelves full of food, snacks and convenient items. The last row is hot foods and condiments. All along the back and far walls are refrigerated beverages, Slurpee and Big Gulp drink stations. Pay up front at either of the two registers. Great location at the corner of Rt 14 (NW Highway) and Teckler Blvd. across from Courtesy Buick. I know where I'm going while my car get an oil change! There must have been restrooms, but we didn't need to use them so didn't notice. Nice parking spots along the front and side of the building entrance. Easy in and out from the traffic light at the corner of 14 and Teckler.”

“Good clean store with decent staff. Fuel is available here and the price for 93 octane is good, 87 can be beat by local gas stations if you do a little research. Selection is good, meat and produce departments are well run. Good place to stock up on the essentials.”
