The Pharmacist here is horrible. My family won't be shopping here again until she's fired. Rude, screaming, threatening other customers...absolutely uncalled for behavior.

Pharmacist very unprofessional, very rude and sarcastic when asked questions, when I called back to get her name she started yelling at me over the phone saying I’m banned from getting prescriptions there, honestly I’m glad . CVS needs to reevaluate their staff !

My experience to say the least was terrible. Yes I was banned from the pharmacy because I couldn’t talk. Had my son there for that exact reason. So they banned me, definitely never recommending this place!

This CVS has been the absolute worst possible CVS I’ve ever had an experience at not only was my father with just freshly been out of surgery. Rejected denied ran around just to find his prescription only for the CVS. It was originally sent to to be closed for a couple hours further lunch and then the CVS we tried to get it sent to actually band us for reportedly cursing outdoor technician which never happened in the first place when asked the proof for this the main pharmacist on deck at that Point Had initially said that she needed no proof she heard it with her own ears, even though whatever she supposedly heard was with the door closed, the cursing was never at her technician was actually at the doctors office because they were the ones that had us running around, which was not their fault and nor was I taking it out on them at all, but technician herself was actually very kind very willing to work with and very easy to communicate with and extremely nice but the pharmacist the head pharmacist that decided to ban my dad and an unable any of his medication’s to be refilled or filled there has now made a serious enemy out of me. I do not take it kindly to people who do not have any proof basis or anything to what they are saying sure the technician and the pharmacist, but no promises

Pharmacy doesn't seem to know what's going on, random lunch periods, and the girl behind the desk is really really rude. She couldn't even get my name right when my wife tried to pick up my meds and then proceeded to get mad at my wife. The gentleman in the back was the only one that knew what was going on. He was their saving Grace. Hence two stars

Terrible customer service, you can't even call to talk to a pharmacist. You have to talk to the automated system or download app. If I wanted to talk to a computer I'd turn mine on. If I make a phone call, I want to talk to a human only!

What a poor customer experience! If the pharmacist at this location represents the way CVS is going they are doomed. She was yelling at a customer over the phone while there was a line of customers waiting. Witnessed this lady telling customers that if she didn't feel like filling the prescription she doesn't have to do it. Telling them they can go somewhere else she doesn't care. The tech’s are so nice and also witnessed one saying to another employee that they thought she should calm down. This was all happening in front of me before I had my own bad experience. I sure hope CVS corporate see’s this and does something about this. Best advice if you have to use CVS would be to go to the one in Target Crystal Lake they are amazing, helpful, knowledgeable and go out of their way to make sure customers are satisfied and well informed. I’m obviously not the only one that has experienced this when reading through these reviews. Society is getting so messed up. I thought Dr.’s determined treatment and didn't know a pharmacist could tell someone they cant have their blood pressure meds? This society is out of control.

Worst experience with a pharmacy. Was told to come back when they closed cause they were just opening up ?? Came back to be told to come back in the morning. This was 6 hrs later and I don’t live close and NEEDED my rx filled. Granted they filled it in less than 10 mins then! Cause I wasn’t leaving without them. The pharmacy tech was rude to people on the phone whom he had on speaker for everyone to hear. It was just not a good experience. I want to switch back to my old pharmacy if I can. My whole experience at this location was beyond unprofessional

Waited in line for over 20 min in dry thru just to get to window to be told they are going to lunch!!! Totally unprofessional service so at least finish with customers that have been waiting in line

I use to love this cvs but for the past few months Idk if it's because they got rid of most of the old staff? But they have been so slow and behind like the cvs in crystal lake on Randal. Maybe fix the hours or fix staff? And it's not the whole staff but I feel it's the new entitled staff, the younger ones, specifically the females usually that have no bedside manners and act like you are being a burden. And I am a very patient person believe that. It's gone down over there! Very disappointing. It's no longer personable like it use to be.

I used to like this pharmacy, not sure what happened but it’s HORRIBLE now. Nobody answers the phone, ever. How is that allowed? Their IVR system makes it very difficult to get to a human. They do NOT make necessary prescriptions a priority. They’ll make you wait 2 days to fill an antibiotic, or better yet you’re out of a necessary daily med, they won’t fill that timely either. They don’t care about health , obviously.

WARNING: AVOID THIS CVS LIKE THE BLACK PLAGUE!!!After spending 35+ years interacting with pharmacies for my medication, I can confidently state this particular CVS at 177 Virginia Rd. in Crystal Lake is absolutely, unequivocally the most INCOMPETENT bunch of goofballs that I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with.They hardly ever answer the phone, are seemingly incapable of meeting deadlines, they don’t understand how to efficiently interact with doctor’s offices, they have no clue how to use their own internal system (which is an absolute mess, btw), they consistently deliver a terrible customer service experience, and worst of all — they casually dismiss and excuse their own incompetence, never taking any responsibility for their repeated failures.I could go into specific detail, but I don’t want to bore you. Doing so would require an amount of effort I’m simply not willing to offer this sorry excuse for a pharmacy. If Google would let me, I would rate this CVS a -100 on a scale of 1-5 stars.

This place needs to put their thinking caps on. You can't be this stupid when dealing with prescriptions if a patient stops by to pick up a prescription and it's not ready and you tell them to come back in 2 days and call them and tell them it's ready you probably should have it ready when they show up. Not tell them that you need a new doctor's authorization. This is why I do mail order they don't even know how to say they're sorry
