Store showed 2 monitors in stock. Drove there and they had one. Decided to get 2 larger ones. Turned out fine. Was difficult to find staff to get help but eventually found someone.

Went in today to get a line output converter to wire in a subwoofer using my factory radio. I was directed to the install department in the back where I met John. He went up and beyond to print me out wiring diagrams and even show me a "military splice" to use on my wiring harness. I usually don't post reviews but this was service worth writing about. Thanks again John!

Really interesting experience today at this store , they selling Lenovo - Tab P12 with Lenovo Tab Pen Plus - ZACH0165US - Storm Grey and they don’t have it on shelves, asked to bring one so i can take a look and sales man told me i can bring you the box to take a look not actually tablet ?? , or you can open one after you buy it… how stupid that sounds… not doubt why they closing stores…

Had some stuff delivered. My husband's ring is now missing. I didn't want to be all up in their space while they were installing the machines so i stepped aside. Whatever it is what it is. No other people have been inside my home. There's nothing we can do they could have just pawned it the same day so what can we do? Just keep an eye on your things while Best Buy delivery guys are around. SMH we are hard working people and thieves just come and take it, what a shame.

Very good selection with prices better than most other big box stores. I couldn’t find the computer camera I wanted, but their selection and displays are top notch.

I went in on Thursday to take care of my phone. Decided I wanted to switch from AT&T to Verizon. Don made it point to ask multiple times why I wanted a new number and carrier. Apparently saying for better reception wasn’t good enough as he continued again to ask I had to say it’s because I’m getting a divorce. In the future Don, it’s not your business to ask that many questions. Hopefully my answer was good enough for you.

Used their Geek Squad Service twice in recent weeks, impressive!!
Andy and Seth served us on two different occasions (addressing a Laptop and a Samsung Galaxy phone issue).
Excellent service level at this location, both gentlemen cared and technically knew what they were doing. Problems got fixed in a short period of time, I particularly liked their attitude and their client centricity, they stayed at the job, explained what they were doing, they were thorough, showed no sign of arrogance towards technicality less experienced older clients.
We can highly recommend Geek Squad at the Best Buy Chrystal Lake location!!

Store manager is a joke and doesn’t hear what the customers have to say. Associates at the service desk are no help at all. This store doesn’t back up their customers or the products that they sell. I would give zero stars if I could.

I went to best buy in crystal lake today asking for help regarding my messenger not sending messages.. David and Kelly we the first to get me and took care of my request Immediately! I highly recommend them!! Thank you for you wonderful, quick, courteous, help! Very knowledgeable!!!

Going here made me remember the good old days of when everything shut down and we couldn't go to physical stores anymore. Customer service just seems pretty nonexistent these days. Went in knowing exactly what I wanted and didn't need anyone to sell or spend time to make a few thousand dollar sale. I asked to price match and immediately was met with a teenager's attitude that the item needs to be sold and distributed by Amazon itself, not just be on the website. OK, fine. The actual brand of the item has it cheaper, still. I show this. The kid is truly playing dumb at this point even after I hand him my phone to do exactly what he needed to do and look at to realize it's the exact same item. I'm getting agitated by now. Then they say they don't price match with the actual brand. I'm sorry, what?? But they price match with MENARDS? Make it make sense, please. Manager comes around and realizes this kid will lose out on this sale if they kept this shtick up, and agrees to price match. I get that they have specific brands they don't price match with, but they shouldn't advertise that they price match when there are so many restrictions on it, making it not as easy as it seems. Or if it's in the best interest of the customer and the store to keep them coming back, then do the damn thing. When I worked in retail on a few years ago, I treated customers how I would want to be treated in that situation, not have an attitude or a power trip just because I was behind the counter with a name tag. 2 stars because he's just a kid and has a lot to learn, and the supervisor was relatively nice.
