“I am extremely pleased with the work done by Scott at his amazing historic shop in the heart of downtown Crystal Lake - these places are hard to find! With the appearance of big box chain art stores, came high volume, low quality, impersonal, expensive, and likely unprofessional framing services - probably by an inexperienced high school kid. If you have an even remotely important piece you’d like framed (or RE-framed) correctly and professionally, have some self-respect: THIS is the place to go FIRST, because you won’t need to get it redone somewhere else. I recently had a moderately unique piece framed right out of the shipping tube by Scott. Although I could have spent hours exploring all the different options and layouts at his design desk, I just let Scott’s 45 years of expertise do whatever he wanted with it and he impressed me above and beyond with the simplicity, yet rich and vibrant appeal of the final presentation, all at a fair price. If you need ANYTHING in the art world of yours handled, don’t wait too long to get it to Woodland Art Gallery & Frame, guys like him will need to retire eventually and enjoy the fruits of their labors.
