Why is it when DG has clearance events this particular store ALWAYS hides the stuff in the back. Then after the events over the employees put things back on the shelf on Tuesdays. She (Cathey) did it during both events this year. If items aren’t selling during regular price why won’t you sell them during clearance. That’s just being greedy. Other than that staff & manager (Cathey)are always nice, greets me when I walk in. Store is clean & neat.

The higher ups need to send a secret shopper in there, because the RUDE manager by the name of Cathy is extremely bad for business and has absolutely NO people skills what so ever.

Purchased Diet Dr Pepper on sale, 4 6-pack bottles for $10. Went back today to buy them for my father-in-law and was denied the sale price. The very rude "manager" (at least she said she was) said she wasn't honoring the sale even though I showed her the sign posted on the shelf. I also told her I was going to complain to corporate and she said "Go ahead." This store has just lost a customer who started shopping here when they first opened because it's close to my house. I won't ever shop here again.

One employee was very rude i think his name was Darrin. He followed me around the store, had an attitude when I asked him for help and then refused to ring me up insisting that I do self check out instead. I've never been treated this way before and I do not like it. He also keep mumbling things under his breath about me. Overall really unprofessional behavior.

I like going to this Dollar General when I don't want to shop at the grocery store. This DG has everything, canned goods, soda, cleaning products, OTC medications, make-up, everything. Very convenient and the employees are always helpful and courteous. I know they work very hard there.

Super fun store to walk the aisles and relax. Always, neat and orderly. The cashiers no matter who it is are ways so friendly and kind. Having service with a smile is one reason I will continue to frequent the Crete location!

This store was organized, clean & well stocked. I drove past 2 other locations to get here but it was worth it! Bonus! Caught an after Christmas sale on these candles! .25 each

Totally loved this charming and quaint bakery/cafe. They serve a breakfast sandwich called appropriately " the Benton," which was divine! See will definitely be returning!!

I go to this DG because the employees and the customer service is amazing. They’re always friendly & helpful. They’re always working hard every time I go in. Cathy the manager is the best and I’m sure her positive upbeat attitude influences the vibe of the store!
