“When I brought my dog in for an initial consultation, he was newly 100% blind due to diabetes. Dr Lindley’s expertise was evident in her exceptional assessment and treatment plan. If he did not have immediate cataract surgery, the blindness would be irreversible due to the condition of his eyes; even with the surgery, his blindness might not be restorable. He would receive next day surgery on both eyes with no lenses (not possible). Dr. Miller performed an outstanding surgery on our dog. About two weeks after the surgery, his vision was restored. Four months later, he is doing great. I cannot recommend Animal Eye Consultants highly enough. The expertise and professionalism of their staff along with the timeliness of this surgery saved our dog’s vision. Thank you!”

I had been with my previous vet for over 20 years. There was an issue that left us with our sweet dog in the middle of cancer treatment and we didn’t know where to go. We saw Dr. B. at Mokena Animal Clinic and he helped our girl with no hassles even though her treatment started at another clinic. It was a blessing that we had to find another vet and went to Mokena Animal Clinic. They are so efficient, can fit you in when there is an emergency and you are not in their office for hours. All the staff are helpful and caring.”

Recently I had taken my dog in for dental extractions. My dog had 7 bad teeth removed and after the procedure he showed no discomfort. “Dr. Greelee and her staff are very patient and through. You can tell that they truly love animals. This is our 3rd dog we have brought in. This fur baby came from an abusive home and was very scared by everything. His natural reaction was the bark and nip. Doc was so patient with him and by the end of our visit, he wasn't as scared. One of our other dogs has been on chemo meds for 2 years and is doing GREAT! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC!”

“Dr Dahl is the best in the field. I took my dog there (even tho it’s located an hour from my neighborhood) because she was the only honest professional that actually helped me. Before that I took my dog to 3 different vets that would not help me figure out what was wrong with my puppy they just told me to neuter him to fix future issues and due to reproduction. Dr Dahl did my dog’s examination with me and explained me what was wrong with him and what to do. She actually gave me a reason why to neuter my dog and told me to change his diet as well. Dr Dahl and team are super kind and honest. If you can’t find a good Veterinarian I recommend this clinic 1000%!!!”

“Excellent veterinary clinic, advice, knowledge, and care. If you care about your furry family members, this is the place to take them. Just had my two new dogs spayed and neutered, both are healing nicely and the process went without a hitch. Only issue was that my boy wasn't a fan of finding out before the scheduled appointment that he only had 48 hours left to check his nuts. I told him, "hey buddy, you have 48 hours left." He kept the same expression for almost 5 minutes. 99% sure he completely understood me and was trying to process it. Thankfully both are healing up and healthy.”

“My boy, Knafa, has been at avenue animal hospital since he was a kitten 12 years ago. We’ve gone through many ups and downs with his health and it wasn’t until Dr Mottel came in and saved the day. He was able to diagnose his IBD immediately and get Knafa’s blood work looking good. Since moving away with my cats 2 years ago, the biggest thing they lost, especially my old man Knafa, was Dr Mottel as his vet. Nobody matches his love and care for animals. Dr Mottel, the cats and I miss you! You are an incredible vet.”
“We have had really good experiences with Dr. Senese, even when one of our dogs was not feeling well and behaved less than friendly. The staff always answer our questions and are responsive when we call with questions or concerns. I think their prices are pretty fair and we would definitely recommend. My one piece of advice would be to try and avoid Saturday scheduling as they are definitely busy and it’s a short day for them :)”

“We were running out of test strips for our diabetic cat and where we ordered from would not deliver till Monday. We have a cat that is 16 years old and diabetic for 7 of them. VCA was listed as having the test strips in stock. We called and a wonderful, sweet, kind lady named Elle understood my problem. She talked to the Tec and was able to sell the test strips. I have spent 2 days calling and going from place to place to try and get these. I have been in customer service for 40 years and Elle is an exception. She goes above and beyond to help a stranger and now a future customer. We cannot thank her enough because her service made such a huge difference. Her smile made me smile all the way home and grateful. Maybe she could get employee of the month. Thank you Judy H”

“I take both my dog and cat here as part of their wellness plan. They’ve also spayed both of my animals and the results were great health and problem free. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s a hassle trying to get someone to pickup the phone there.”
