“Hands down my favorite thrift shop. It’s not huge, but what it may lack in size more than makes up for quality. Fabulous, unique finds with excellent pricing and supports awesome cause. I will definitely support this establishment.”

“This place is the best. I always come here for my thrifting fix, & they have the best knick-knacks. The owner Scott and his wife are amazing. I came here a while back to bring some donations and they were both very helpful. Everyone is always friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

They also have a fresh smoothie/snack cafe in the back. Awesome place!”

“Hands down my favorite Black owned Thrift store! You can’t beat these prices. The owner Jeremy is awesome and he has a great staff as well. You can find men & women’s wear, small housewares and beauty products carried in store (from other businesses). That’s not all, he has a beautiful space he rents out for your event needs. Definitely a place to put on your list to shop, and have a party too.”

“I love this thrift shop! I always find a piece or two, sometimes a whole outfit.Yesterday I found a Calvin Klein belt for $1, a scarf also for $1, Lane Bryant jeans, and a cool blouse for $3.50 each. Some people think thrift shops are just for rich people to donte to and poor people to shop at. I think they are for all of us and the best way to save some money and the planet!I particularly like this place because the lady who runs it donates proceeds to help kids. She often has teens working there and trains them how to sort clothes, display merchandise and work the register.Next time you want to add to your closet, or clean out your closet, please visit this place. Especially of you are size 14 / 16 short. Haha! ?”

“Love coming here! The staff is so friendly and engaging. I always find treasures when I stop in to look around. I'd rather shop here, where the proceeds go to support NAWS, than shop at national chains who are for profit.”

“I just left the most delightful thrift store and I'm still beaming with joy! The prices were unbeatable and the selection was incredible - I found a vintage vest that's now my new favorite piece. The staff were super friendly and helpful, offering to help me find more items that fit my style. The store was clean and organized, making it a breeze to browse. I'll definitely be back again soon!”

“Great place. They have a weirdly good selection of kitchenware. Been there twice now and both times found exactly what I needed. 2 nice, see-through lids for pots, and a ceramic casserole dish from Corningware. All for a great price. Staff are friendly too! Will be back again”

“The workers are extremely friendly, and if you bring a child they have a free toy basket where they can pick out one item. They always have adorable shoes, jewelry, clothes and home decor/glass ware. I believe the money spent goes to an animal rescue which I love! Definitely stop by and check it out to support a good cause ❤️”

“I have always loved this place & have been going there for many years! I will always be a loyal shopper! The deals are amazing and it's for a proven good cause. You can go in at 50% deal days, and save ton! It's a bit pricier than some of the junkier thrift store but it's much better quality items/high end. Ironically, some of the negative posts below reminded me that I haven't been there in a while and I should get their ASAP. It did the exact opposite of what these people were trying to achieve lol! Right before they close, they do warn people. These people are not paid, they volunteer their time! They work from the goodness of their hearts. Everyone there is friendly to me. That lady that might have been disrespectful in that other person's comment could have been someone that was abused herself perhaps, just guessing. I've always seen friendliness there but in the past people have been disrespectful and lingering around there after hours, so keep in mind these are unpaid volunteers. Also some of the people that were upset about the High-priced items.. well just go on the 50% off days. Or don't go at all and leave all the good stuff for us, lol. I bought this awesome Guess dress, Paris perfume, and bracelet pictured below, very affordably. Brand new Victoria Secrets panties with the jewels on the sides & bras for practical nothing ($4 brand new w/tags) You can't get that at other thrift stores. I know my purchases are going to abused women and children for resources such as shelter and counseling . I'm very proud to support this in the community and I'll keep promoting it. There were a lot of people in there today. I will also continue to donate my clothes too. I love to shop there, and highly recommend!”

“I’ve been shopping at this thrift store for several years. Always great finds and great prices. Make sure to ask about the sales. Plenty of items that are 50-75% off the marked price. Very helpful staff also.”

“This was my first time here and it was such a delightful experience! The store is well organized. There’s a good mix of clothing and homeware. The best part is the staff - they are very helpful and friendly! Looking forward to returning!”

“Always a line when I pull in. However they move quickly. If you get out no problem to give bags however I have seen vehicles in front of me where they open their trunk and the clerk takes the items out”

“I contacted Kathy in April to schedule a May donation pick up as we were moving out of state and had many items to donate. Kathy's communication with me regarding the items I could donate and confirming pick up date and time was outstanding. The team (2 men) who came for my donation, called the morning of pick up to confirm their ETA. They were punctual, professional, and extremely polite. They had to move several items down a flight of stairs and did so with care and no complaints. I felt very good donating to this wonderful ministry. They helped me by taking furniture, clothing, and kitchen items I know longer needed/wanted and I felt good knowing my items would be put to good use. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND donating to Restoration Ministries.”

“The appliances and machines are 50% off retail and some items they give you what feels like a random price. Some of the appliances are not in boxes so you can check if they have all the parts.”

“Wow! I'm impressed! The store is very nicely organized and clean! Also, the cashier was super nice! You don't find all those qualities in a thrift store! I'll be back again!”

“For those of you that complain about their policy regarding them not immediately being able to price an item. This is typical. This is a thrift store. Service isn't going to be amazing. Their policy is the same everywhere "if there is no tag then it needs to be properly priced and you can return the next day in the morning to ask for the item and get it then. I did this before and they were accommodating at another location. Although it is inconvenient to have to come back simply for this reason. It's understandable since they need to determine the price a certain way to get some kind of profit and so forth. I don't believe every employee is trained to be able to determine the price of all or any items. These locations are always short staffed so keep that in mind as well. If you want something better in that sense go to a Bloomingdales or a Nordstrom. Not that you can afford it in this economy ?as they say be grateful for what you have”

“Great place to donate and shop. I've given bags away and feel good about donating. Recently I purchased a quality business bag for $8.50 and two name brand suit jackets for only $5 each!”

“My GO-TO thrift store. Their prices are high like goodwill so I love going on Mondays when everything is 50%!!! Becoming a member is free to join. They also have student and senior days…but you don’t save as much as you do on Mondays!! I think the new items are excluded from the specials. Staff is always friendly. There’s always employees cleaning and putting things away. Mondays are mess days because half price. Reusable brown paper bags are $.10 or just bring in your own!”

“A hidden gem in Chicago. As expected with most thrift stores the racks are full of merchandise, people are busy searching for the best deals and you have to be diligent to find the half-price tags. It takes effort but it’s time well spent for budget friendly quality purchases. I have frequented this location on many occasions. On my most recent visit, a piece of jewelry that I purchased was not included in my bag. The cashier ran to meet me on the sidewalk to ensure I received my item. While I did not notice her name I appreciate her kindness and will return in the near future.”

“World class organization. I paid 4 bucks for a pair of Lucky jeans. Who's the lucky one here. Inventory changing all the time, because of the hard working people there. It's a thrift store that has real bargains for real people...and stuff”

“Good place to go for some nice finds. If you have time and are patient, you can put together an outfit or two for under $20. I even found vinyl records for as low as $1.99.”
