I have a Schnoodle that is 14 and has cataracts and a heart murmur. Noticing that she was severely scratching her ear for days,we noticed her right ear was swelled and full of a fluid. Called her regular vet and they stated that they had no immediate availability so I should take her to an ER clinic. Found this clinic in Orland and arrived there at 10:10am. They took us into a room immediately and took my dog back to be examined. Well after an hour and no one returning to let me know anything I went back to the front and asked what they are doing to my dog. Turns out they had done nothing yet. Finally at 11:25 someone comes out and states that she had a deep ear hematoma. They would have to use minor sedation and attempt to drain the ear. I had to sign and pay before they treated her and the amount was $975.63. At 1:00 I explained that I had to leave to pick up my handicapped son and would return in about an hour. They then stated that she would be done in 5 minutes. But now it was $112.67 more due to additional medications. She came out with a cone on her head so she would not scratch the ear. My husband and I thought this cost was astronomical but as long as it made our dog feel better. Well fast forward 5 days later (Saturday), her ear was still as large as it was originally. I had to call 3 times without a call back before I got to speak with a nurse. She stated that I might want to pursue taking her to a dermatologist. I stated that after what they charged me, I could not afford another specialist. They said they would have a manager call me back but nothing yet. I just think this place is out for the money and felt they could've called me over the following days and paying what I did to check how she was doing. Would not recommend or return to this facility again.

Thank goodness for this emergency vet service. My cat hurt himself early on a Sunday morning and they were able to see us that day. It’s not cheap but it definitely gives you peace of mind knowing what’s going to happen next.

Premier is my go to place for emergency vet services. The front desk team members are compassionate and knowledgeable. In a time of uneasiness about your pet this is paramount. The doctors are the same. Excellent care, communication and vet care. I highly recommend this business.

Our dog Max, a terrier mix, ingested numerous chocolate covered raisins. We called Premier Veterinary 24 Hour Care and explained our situation. The receptionist who greeted us recalled our phone call and Max was triaged almost immediately. This was just the beginning of the care and compassion shown to us. Max was evaluated, treated and monitored for an overnight stay by a spectacular team. We appreciate the call to update us on his status and respond to our questions.
We are truly blessed that he was able to go home with no medications or restrictions. Thank you to everyone!

The staff were all really helpful and nice, so that's why I gave 3 stars.
My cat had developed sudden symptoms (crying, hiding, loss of mobility and appetite) and the Internet said get immediate medical attention so we brought her in. The vet examined her for maybe 5 minutes and without running any tests, immediately suggested to us we put her down. She had an appointment in the morning with her regular vet, so we declined and left.
Our regular vet developed an actual plan of care and she's doing a lot better.
If you need someone to euthanize your pet, it's a great place to go.

Do not let yourself feel that this Animal Hospital is to commercial, or just a business worried about a bottom line of profit. They treated my Dog and I with as much hospitality and care that I could imagine. All the Doctors and Nurses including the desk staff.
Thank You.

My pup decided, on a Saturday afternoon, to eat a mouse/rat bait block while visiting at my parents… With my vet being closed, I made my way to Premier - just a few minutes away from their house. The staff was extremely professional, kind and fast acting - we are so thankful! Pup (and his parents, and his grandparents) are all doing well after a very scary day! Thank you Premier!
