They turned the corner store into a ice cream shop called cone corner. I was the first ice cream scooper when the store first opened. Everybody in the neighborhood knew the Redina family. “They have pretty much anything you can think of. Worked here more than twenty years ago while in high school and never truly realized how narrow some of the aisles are. If you get there early enough the beer is ice cold in the fridges, but they get so busy it’s understandable that it won’t be as cold cause it’s a never ending battle to keep restocking the product. Kegs, cases, single bottles, they got it.”
