If you’re a UBER driver. Do not rent from HERTZ. They’re overcharging, lying to the drivers and renting vehicles that are not safe. Needing new tires, oil changes, alignments, shocks, rotors, struts. These are all the things I had to fix on 3 cars rented with Hertz. The first one I was in an accident due to bald tires. They would prefer you drive an unsafe vehicle cause once you take the time to get them fixed to transport safety they lie and tell you it’s sold to put you back into dangerous vehicle. They’re only looking to get their commission from the sale. Rude, nasty and liars.

You come all the way to the location just to find out no cars are available then the employees act nonchalant. Leslie acts off and always has a smart remark. They literally sit and let the phone ring instead of just picking up and saying they can’t fulfill your reservation and save you a wasted trip. Today I had a reservation and have been calling the location since 8am still no answer and customer service refused to transfer me to a manager. This is the third time ive had a problem with hertz so I won’t be using them again.

Ammar Abdallah at the Crestwood Cal Sag location helped me find a quick rental during a pinch, very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Big thumbs up, will rent again!

Booked a rental at this location which was prepaid at 6am the day prior. On the day of rental, I get a call stating that they do not have any vehicles available. They confirmed my rental over 24 hours prior. If they didnt have any vehicles, it would have been nice to know the day of booking - not an hour before I'm supposed to pick up the vehicle. I was told to try other Hertz locations to see if they would honor my rental. I did try a few other locations in the area and was told they did not have anything at the time. One location told me that she had to make the same cancellation calls to about 25 customers that morning.I understand that due to the holiday weekend that rental cars will be scarce but you should not advertise on your website that there are vehicles available when you do not. It should not give you the option to still rent a vehicle. And if you dont have vehicles available, you should advise the customer right away - not morning of rental.I did call back to make sure that the charge that I was prepaid would be reversed. I was told that I would need to call the 1-800 number in order to do this. That they could not just cancel my reservation and issue a refund. And that I HAD to call because if I didnt call, that I would still be charged the amount. It was ridiculous that I had to wait on hold for over 15 minutes to get a representative on the line to cancel my reservation and was told that it would take 7-10 business days for me to get my money back on a rental that was never started!I found this whole rental experience with Hertz very unprofessional and a complete waste of time. I will not be doing business with Hertz again.

This place is horrible. Poor customer service. They just don't care. They wasted a lot of my time by not informing me ahead of time that they had special requirements for debit card users. I had talked to them several times confirming rental, and this was never mentioned until I got there for pickup. They told me they were going to have to run a credit check. Although, it was later noted there were other ways to handle it. That was not pointed out until three hours later! I was late for my event, and didn't have to be. There were three people there, and it didn't occur to any of the other two to chime in on the misinformation. They weren't doing anything else. I was the only customer in there. I arrived early to only leave much later than expected.

I reserved a 7 passenger vehicle for my family to go to Tennessee. TWO hours before we were suppose to pick up the vehicle, Leslie called and said they didn't have a vehicle available for us. Less than 10 hours before we were to leave we had NO VEHICLE for our vacation. 'Thanks' Hertz for not being a reliable car rental company and causing so much unnecessary stress to myself and family!!!!

Store manager Leslie is not competent. Over the phone I stated twice that my rental was through insurance and he continued to ask if it was a personal rental. He takes multiple calls at once putting the customer on hold but leaving the phone line open so we can continue to hear him speak with other customers and employees. I had a reservation made for 8am as soon as the store opened and waited 45 min to be put in a car bc the manager spent more time on the phone then with a customer that was in front of him. I declined insurance to Leslie bc I was renting through insurance and have full coverage, no need to have theirs. Apparently he still charged me for the insurance and told me at the time I rented the entire amount I was charged would be refunded upon return. When I returned the vehicle I was again advised that the total amount charged would be refunded in 2 weeks max. It’s now been 3 weeks and no refund has been made. When speaking with Leslie again today he just repeatedly said that he would have never told me that. Well sir, you in fact did, and perhaps you misspoke, but you definitely made an error in charging me for insurance that I declined. I’ll use enterprise moving forward.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. First, let me make clear I have never had a negative experience with Hertz, but I believe this particular experience deserves recognition. After being rear-ended, I needed a rental while the repairs were performed at the shop. Trying to schedule a rental with a pickup from the shop ahead of time became a priority for me so I wouldn't find myself stranded. After several calls to a different rental shop over several days with no luck, I found myself a bit concerned on a Friday reaching out to the Crestwood Hertz. It seemed I was destined to meet Ammar because he was honest about the low inventory of cars and not really being sure what would happen by Monday (the day I would need a rental). However, he promised to still arrange for me to be picked up Monday morning from the repair shop and would work towards securing a car for me as soon as possible. Sure enough, I was picked up at about 9 am. We enjoyed a pleasant ride back to the Hertz location, and he had a car available with no wait time. Ammar was AMAZING, and I couldn't have enjoyed my experience any more than I did. My drop off when I returned the car was just as smooth too! The kindness and honesty I have witnessed from all your associates at different locations, including Leslie also in Crestwood, has been really appreciated. Thank you for hiring the right people and being proficient in your training across the board. It shines through in people like Ammar.

Is such a disappointment when make a reservation at this establishment and drive 50miles. To be told ‘we have no cars available’ and ‘sorry, the call center constantly overbooks’ and to put the icing on the cake. You are told please call the number on the pamphlet to make sure YOU don’t get cancellation fee. Simply Unprofessional and inadequate customer service. FYI Please triple confirm your reservation and be prepared to do your own Hertz’s customer service work -to be told there are no cars available and YOU have to call to make sure a cancellation fee isn’t added. Just putting it out there for those in customer service! I understand there are circumstances out of your control please be courteous and update THE CUSTOMER and maybe go the extra mile and provide that additional service cancellation call

I wouldn’t want to rent from ANY OTHER LOCATION ! Ammar & Leslie are OUTSTANDING every single time? Quick , fast and friendly they get the job done. No matter what issues you have , they have a solution.. they keep the cars and location clean inside and out, this is the best Hertz location to rent from
