I am a longtime business banking customer who was attempting to add a signee to my account at the end of the business day. I was immediately denied service because the business banker was "finishing up with her last appointment and then about to bounce" (her words) with 30 minutes still left to help me before closing. Even after telling her that it would mean a lot, I was still denied assistance. Not only did I feel poorly welcomed into the branch, I also received the impression that the employees took pleasure in not providing me assistance.

6720 Roosevelt RoadOak Park, IL 60304I went to the Oak Park, IL Bank of America on May 17, 2023 to open up a business account, I already have a personal bank account. I worked with April Slugg. She would not open the account for me and I felt that she was racially profiling me and was treated me very disrespectfully. She talked loudly and tried to humiliate me in front of the other clientele and was extremely unprofessional. I left the bank frustrated and embarrassed.I went to Crestwood, IL Bank of America on May 19, 2023 where I had opened my personal account. I worked with Kimberly Williams to open my business account. She was professional and courteous and was able to open the account and deposit my business check at 11:34am in the amount of $45,858.95. I was told there would be a hold on the account until May 31. The next time I tried to check my account I was unable to log in as the account was locked. I had to go into the bank and was told the check had cleared. I had to talk to people in the Risk Department, Claims Department, and Fraud Department stating that the check was fake.Of course, I was unable to get my original check back (as it was cashed). I was then told I would receive a cashier’s check, which was also reneged on. Lastly, I was told they would send the money back to the IRS and the IRS could resend me another check. In talking with the IRS they have never heard of anything like this happening before.I am planning to pursue legal action as there was a multitude of shady business practices involved. My biggest question is where was the money from the time you cashed the check and who was receiving the interest on that money? For a reputable bank this is completely unsatisfactory. I am still without my money.

Bank of America needs to keep CONSISTENCY with their branch hours across all locations. It is absurd that I need to drive farther to get to a bank on Saturdays only because all my local branches are closed and close early during the week. In addition, it is always overwhelming to do my business at this branch because they’re always extremely busy, long wait lines for teller, never has bankers available, not enough employees to help. Even the employees look overwhelmed they obviously need to hire more people or OPEN UP YOUR REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS AT ALL LOCATIONS.

Never coming here again! I'm so disgusted with the service I received. I went into this branch with Bank of America checks issued through my attorney's office, in hopes of cashing them. Instead I was accused of trying to cash fraudulent checks! Even after reaching out to the law offices accounting department and having the checks verified in front of the assistant manager, I was still denied service.The assistant manager referred me to her manager, who kept insinuating that I would some how mishandled the funds that were assigned to me for my minor children. She even when so far as to ask me why it was so important that I cashed the checks? Why I hadn't cashed them sooner? And what was I going to do with the money? Completely inappropriate!

Wen there a week ago to change my name and I went to a younger lady to help me and she changed my name and requested to get a new card and when I got my card the mail said my old last name so I knew something was wrong and after waiting 5 days to get my new card with my new name , I revealed that my old name was still on there . I called Customer service and they don’t understand how that was approved . So now I have to wait another 4-7 business days to get my name corrected !!

On Saturday ,1/28/2023 , at 11:16 AM, I made a Money Order Deposit for the first time at the Bank of America (BOA) Crestwood, Illinois location. The gentleman who completed the transaction appeared to be unsure of how to complete the deposit and received assistance from another coworker. The deposit date on my receipt read that transaction was completed on 1/30/2023. On Monday, January 30, 2023, when finally taking a minute to read my emails, I found that I received an email notification from BOA dated,1/28/23 at 4:47 P.M., stating the following:"We placed a hold on a check you deposited at a financial center.The full amount isn't available yet.Hold Reason : A hold was placed on your check(s) because check specific information indicates item may be returned. Date available: February 08, 2023 by 9 a.m"Upon immediate receipt of this notification I dialed the 708-385-9485, phone number in an attempt to discuss this matter with someone at the BOA Crestwood location. However after making numerous attempts, no one ever answered the phone!!!I later called the BOA Customer Service line at 708-385-9485, and spoke with a Customer Service Representative who introduced herself as "Frances". I explained my concern and confirmed that the transaction in question was made with a Money Order and the actual physical date of deposit was on January 28, 2023. She listened to my concern and immediately began to provide assistance with getting this matter resolved. I am thankful that I was able to speak with BOA Representative, "Frances" who patiently and professionally listened to my concern and effectively assisted me with this matter. Frances, just so that you know....You get 5 Stars!!!! *****Crestwood BOA gets 1 star. I didn’t have an appointment. I needed to change my PIN. There was Kimberly Williams, Relationship Business Manager. She was kind and helped me with changing my forgotten PIN really fast. I was surprised when she said that it’s done. It took about 2 minutes. I’ve never spent so little time in the bank. Thank you so much ??

Am here to complain about fraud on my account they told me the person in the first office will attend to me, I waited hour I saw this person talking and joking with co worker in business advantage office ...while I am in pain with my issue..bao I thought you bank is the best with all this you are not...I know how they took care of me at Huntington your Cicero office need serious staff...baba Tunde

I have visited multiple locations as a Bank of America Customer and in my opinion this is the best location that I have been into. I Scheduled an Appointment with Sandra Horta at 12:00 pm. Even though I was 40 min earlier she managed to address my issues that I had regarding the preferred rewards program. Even though they are still working on solving the issue that I'm having. I feel like that the way they handled the situation is much much better than the other branches that I went to. And Sandra Understood and took the the time and discussed with her manager the possibilities and recommendations to some concerns that I had.Thank you for taking the time to address the problem that I had with my accounts and answering my questions Sandra! I look forward to meeting you again if I have any questions or concerns regarding my accounts.Emad Alwan.
