Definitely one of the best Retro Gaming businesses in the Chicagoland area, more specifically the Crestwood Location. They have a decent assortment of games for all types of consoles and have games available at a fair price. Also went in for a repair on my PS2 slim that wasn't reading discs at all. Left it there and within 2 hours came back and was good to go. Haven't had an issue with the console since then and got a really good price for the repair. Definitely recommend

Very very shady place. I brought in equipment to trade in after I tested myself and a switch to get fixed. They said trade in systems didn’t work/turn on after I know they did. I rejected their low ball offer and went back to get my stuff. Had games missing from the cases and the employee there said he didn’t know there weren’t notes in the computer and it was probably in the system. It wasn’t. Then they said since I wasn’t trading I would have to pay the diagnostic fee to fix the switch which was no problem at all. The guy working said was like oh don’t know if it’s worth fixing or buying a new one. I asked him for the system back he gave me the remotes and I questioned the system itself since it wasn’t worth fixing. Minutes later he came out with the switch saying it was already fixed and someone should have told me but couldn’t realease it until I paid the fee. No one told me what the issue was or cost would be before to fix it because I needed to pay diagnostics fee. I ended up paying 120$ to get my switch back. The manager was the one that told me I had to pay 20$ diagnostic fee before they would work on it and I let the employee know. Very shady bad experience only positive is the switch was fix but ended up leaving with games missing and a bad ps2 with missing wires that they couldn’t find and wouldn’t replace.

The workers are nice and helpful. However, I went in a few weeks ago and bought a ps4 dualshock controller and a nintendo 3ds, both pre-owned. Of course, everyone should be a little cautious when buying pre-owned goods, but the fact that I faced complications with both items does not sit right with me. The 3ds required a factory reset, which was an easy fix. However, when it came to the ps4 controller, it wouldn’t connect to my console no matter what I tried. I’ve attempted several methods, none of which worked. Ultimately, great service, but I just wish that they’d sell items in the best condition they can.

First off, everyone seems very kind in this shop. Second it seems they are very honest. I had a very pleasant experience in which any j*** could have taken advantage of me, but these guys were helpful, and save me some money in theory. They have a great selection of games and systems to boot.I will be back.
