I tried to schedule an appointment. I forgot my daughter had gymnastics and I notified them that I would be 15 minutes late and they said that is not okay and that I could only be 10 minutes late. Well you just lost my business. Try being more accommodating, especially with the wide range of vision care in the area.

The eye doctor and optometrist girl (don't remember her name, sorry) I would give 10/10 absolutely the best. Rest of the staff not so much professional. Would need training reading customers insurance information about coverage. Also, not to treat customers hostile when they inquiring about contact lenses and different option available before making decisions to purchase them. I don't know why customers have to wait for staff to attend to them when it's not busy in the practice. Not everyone has time to sit around for 10-15 minutes waiting for attention to buy prescription glasses or order/buy contact lenses. There is no possibility to make appointment online only to buy glasses or contacts without eye exam.Another thing could be improved shopping on line, to add insurance information with your prescription. That would make experience a lot of easier and would save unnecessary trips to the location.I do believe that a lot of what I had pointed out can be improved and Crestwood location could reach full potential with minor adjustments.

Yesterday, 8/12/23 I visited the America's Best location in Crestwood. Upon entering, I was greeted by the staff in the front - who were very warm and welcoming. They experienced some issues with their system that delayed the check in process but the lady at the front desk (I don't remember her name) was very friendly and apologetic. My 5-year-old son needed an eye exam to enter Kindergarten. This was his first time to the eye doctor. As a 5-year-old, of course he was excited and had questions. The pre-examination process went well. Though, it took a few tries to get the pictures for his eyes - the lady doing the pre-examination was VERY patient and friendly. You can obviously tell she has worked with children before and/or has some of her own. ***The PROBLEM CAME WHEN we had to see the doctor, Dr O'DONNELL. The exam was HORRIFIC from beginning to end. I entered the room with my son. I immediately said hello as well as my very excited son. The doctor ignored both of us and demanded we sit down in our designated places. (My first red flag) My son asked how the process was going to go and again he ignored him. He just wasn't friendly and very rude the entire time. It was almost as if he was ANNOYED that he had to deal with a "child". I watched him from the waiting room with another customer (an older man) before he closed the door, and the dynamic was COMPLETELY different. I would hate to say this is a race situation or maybe it was just because of it being a child? Either way - he SHOULD not be in this line of work if he is unable to work with everyone. I have been in customer service more than 15 years. I was SPEECHLESS that someone could treat a child that way. And if it wasn't a necessary exam for school, I would have left. I originally scheduled this appointment weeks ago and it was canceled by your staff (not of my doing). So, I had no other option but to stay to avoid delaying my son's required paperwork to start school next week. Honestly, if my child wasn't with me, I would have addressed him because the disgust I felt when I left, it was unsettling. My son walked out of that exam immediately asking why "that guy was so mean". When the exam was over, he quickly ranted out his findings (none of which I understood because he said it so fast- my guess was to get us out). My son was well behaved - I can't for the life of me understand why he was so rude. My guess is, he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Either way, please address him because you can lose a lot of business this way. I am also going to be contacting Customer Service as well. This needs to be addressed.

DONT CHOSE THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. Mrs.Chris was the only nice person to me when I walked in and when leaving. I called before coming in I had an appointment , my glasses were broken and I needed contacts something quick. They don't have my prescription in store which I know. And just wanted something close so I can see. The lady who did my pre screening was cold and distanced. I understand doing your job but it's customer service, the new doctor seems okay but I didn't feel welcomed, the Latino girl she really made me feel like I was a bother to her, she slammed her computer desk in and was huffing and puffing. If I didn't need these contacts I would have told her about herself. I miss the old doctor who would listen to my problems and give helpful advice. I came in here for help I legally can't drive without glasses it's bad. I'm never the person to let people get to them. I've been coming here since I was 15 I'm 25 now. This is my last time coming to this location. I rather pay more then come back here. Mostly white staff, so I should've known my experience was going to end feeling like this.

What can I say. If you are a senior don’t go here. Everything is computerized so if you want paperwork to fill out you have to use an I pad. Very unsanitary. The girls wear slippers there yes slippers. I called to see if I could pick up my glasses asked if they could wait five minutes in case I was late. Ruby said no so another thumbs down for us seniors. They messed up my order to god. What is this world coming to. Way to much technology maybe robots would do a better job. Techs. Start wearing shoes take pride in yourself.

I had an amazing experience at this location. Very clean and the staff is very friendly. They were also very efficient and fast was in and out in 20 minutes. Explained to me all my options and alternatives. Totally recommend this location!!

America's Best is more like America's worst. Do not go spend your money here. If i could give no Star's I would. I had to go and get another exam else where and loved their service.When I went to get my trial contacts I received +0.00 with -0.75. the funny thing is I didn't check the box since I was figuring out which was right and which was left. OD and OS.I saw blurry since there is no focus power in the contact the only thing that was there was the -0.75 which is the way my eye is shaped from my astigmatism. The other contact I put in for my other eye felt that it had too much focus power and left me seeing blurry.So I go back and let them know they have my trials with wrong numbers. I come to find out everything they checked here was way off from my prescription and I even went down in astigmatism in both eyes and prescription as well. Never going back here again!

I had no problems with my appointment or the pre eye exam as well was the exam all of that was fine. I went to pick up my glasses and when I asked for the case that should come with the glasses they said it didn't come with a case. I purchased premium frames the exact same pair I had purchased previously so I know for a fact they do come with a case, and a nice case at that.

BEST EYE CLINIC EXPERIENCE. The receptionists where very nice and the eyeglass manager Ruby made my first time buying glasses a smooth and fun experience. She truly cares about what you need and she went above and beyond to make sure I had all the information required to make the right decisions on my first pair of glasses! I did get to meet some of the other team members and they were also as friendly, upbeat and professional. Im highly recommending this location to anyone that loves good service!

I got glasses from them and I started having problems seeing out of them. Took them back and they retested my eyes and is now fixing my glasses. I was only charged for the eye exam not the lenses ( I'm using same frames they are still fairly new) just waiting on the phone call to come and get them! And they are also very friendly. They took the time and looked into what was going on, hassle free. I would definitely recommend them to other people.
