went to plato’s closet with a box full of clothes, they told me the clothes were too “business casual” and to take them to clothes mentor, so i did.
when i did, they told me the clothes were too junior and to take them to plato’s closet. these companies are predatory and will only waste your time, stop giving them your items and let them go out of business.

An overpriced goodwill , I was not impressed the store was a mess and not to organized $19 for used jeans ?? $10 for generic thrift store shirts?!!

Used to do business with them quite often. Now it’s terrible. I brought my clothes in there all folded neatly in a bin pick them up because they don’t want anything because they’re who knows why pick up my clothes they’re just thrown in the bin in a big wad, very unprofessional, I will not do business there again and I think you better think twice about how unprofessional for a business to just jump the clothes back in the bin when they weren’t brought in that way bye-bye Felicia

I had stop going to clothes mentor as the customer service had gotten terrible. I came in yesterday and they were top notch. Needless to say I am back today(was supposed to rate yesterday)

I brought in 10 sweaters and later in day at least 8 coats and jackets . To my disbelief every thing returned to me very disappointed, all were Good quality and clean. They don't buy anything.

They take nicer quality clothes for resale so I was able to sell several of my fancy dresses to them. You get money on the spot although don't expect much in that respect since it is a resale shop. Still it was more than I would have received had I just donated to Goodwill. I donate to Goodwill all the time but this time it was to my benefit to try to sell before just giving away.

Told me that they weren’t looking for that style of clothes, I literally had brand new Levi’s, tags on, summer dresses, tags on, several items that were bought in the last year, which would make them in style. Then she said they had too much inventory when I questioned her. So, why are they accepting clothes if they’re not going to buy them. Second time I’ve had an issue with these people. I will never sell, buy, or go into your store again, and I will definitely tell others about your service. You waste people’s time.
