The coach I had was very good at motivating without being unbearable, consistently checked to make sure my form was good and that I was ok throughout the session.

I don’t usually review, but just be careful when cancelling. I canceled in February and it’s now April and they are still billing my account $15 a month and yesterday they pulled $40 out of my account. I just called and left a v/m. I will be getting my money back. Watch your accounts closely when canceling

The gym is nice and spacious but looks outdated. I like that it upgraded to 24 hours for access. The staff is not friendly though. I had a couple guest passes and my friends were more interrogated instead of welcomed. Not a great way to get members. The manager I think, not sure, was really offensive, I think he was trying to sell training and providing diet tips. But to explain to potential clients they don’t know anything is again just a bad approach in how to sell that. The facility is nice, the staff is bad, not welcoming, clearly not trained in how to handle interactions. So glad Vasa Fitness is open so I can cancel this place. ??

PURE EXTORTIONI called to cancel my membership 6 years ago, and they refused to cancel via phone. I went into the gym in person with another person who was cancelling as well. I gave them my cancellation in writing. No further deduction was made from my bank account.Now - 6 YEARS LATER - I received an email stating that I was going to be sent to collections for 4 months of dues that were unpaid from 2014. I called them, and they have no record of my cancellation. I was told that they have a new owner who is trying to recoup some of his recent losses due to Covid by going after old accounts. I explained what happened, but they say that they don't have any record of the cancellation - even though the person I went in with's account was cancelled, plus I was on auto-pay so why wouldn't they have kept charging me? IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. I had to settle and pay them 20% of what they say was owed to ensure it wasn't going to collections, but it is not the money, it is the principle. This is a bad policy and a bad decision by a money-grubbing new owner. Pure EXTORTION.

When you have Amazon lockers in your business you need to make it available for the customers to get there packages. I showed up at 4:30 to pick up my package which was a Christmas present and the lady at the front would not let me go in to get my package so now my son won’t have his gift to open. My son is 22 so we only purchase one item for them and I can’t get it out of the Amazon Locker

*Amazon customers * please avoid this location for locker hubs doors are locked 24/7 and staff isn’t that friendly and your almost never able to get your package . I picked up my package on Sunday within Amazon hours 8-12pm and manager Eric was not welcoming and told me “this is a private gym, I’m glad your here now because I’m about to lock the door” It was only 9:12am. Choose another hub, this one is useless.

If you aren’t affiliated with Amazon you need to get rid of the hub locker. I don’t know the purpose of having a locker if you wanna tell people they can’t come in at certain times. Definitely will be switching mine today !

Punctuality is important in a business. Having said that I have been going in at 5 a.m. for quite some time and it seems like the lady who opens the doors on weekdays has a nearly impossible time opening at 5a.m. I have watched her habitually show up anywhere from 2-10minutes late everyday. It's not just me waiting either, 10 regulars or so every morning wait for her to open the gym late every day. If you want an early a.m. gym, find a new one in my opinion.

This charter fitness location is affiliated with Amazon and refuse to allow Amazon customers to put there packages. The Manager Eric was extremely Rude and unprofessional. He also refused to give up basic information and his negligence was reported to charter fitness and Amazons corporate offices. Poor customer service by far.

Fantastic gym. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always willing to help. Tons of equipment and extremely clean. Also, a no judgement atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. I love it here.

Charter Fitness is the finest, most affordable, 125% clean and family friendly fitness facility in the entire JOLIET/ CREST HILL area. The entire staff is consistently there for everyone who has the wonderful opportunity to utilize this fantastic gym!!!!!! THEY ARE DEDICATED AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL IN ALL ASPECTS OF CUSTOMER/MEMBER SATISFACTION!!!! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A GREAT FAVOR AND VISIT THIS AWESOME EXERCISE FACILITY. YOU CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED !!!!!!!

I have a membership at multiple gyms in the area and this is honestly my favorite one. Number 1 reason is the cleanliness especially during these hard times I noticed that this is definitely the cleanest gym in the area. Staff are always friendly and make you feel good to be there. Very spacious and huge variety of equipment to chose from. Keep up the great work!

Charter Fitness Crest Hill is a great gym. It’s at a good location and it’s clean. Eric, the manager is very friendly and helpful with everything. The staff is also great, they’re very kind and professional.
