“Front desk woman was fantastic. Room was literally humongous, largest non-Suite room ever. The other issue is the TV wasn't big so can't be on bed and watch TV, and the seats are not so convenient. Pool was closed, so that was a downer. The in house restaurant turns out is closed permanently, so that wasn't great either. Rooms are quite close to parking, so everyone had to get up when someone's alarm went off for a while, but doubtful I would hear someone from the room next door.”

“I had a wonderful stay with the most kindest host (Zulema) she was so lovely, she greeted me when I was feeling anxious, and she provided comfort to ensure I have a good stay. “My room was definitely outdated but it was at least clean. I don't imagine the other rooms would look much different. The mattress wasn't very comfortable and the robes also weren't comfortable. Mine was a bit small on me but I really can't hold that against them since I'm a bigger dude. This is my first time at a hotel like this so overall it was a big of an odd experience for me but it wasn't bad. I do want to come back eventually”
“I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is beautiful with many amenities. The staff is very professional . I must comment on the professional and personable attitude of Tracy, manager on staff . Tracy made me feel welcome and at home. I definitely will choose to return in the future .

“Love, love, loved the Drake in oak Brook. Our room was beautiful, the service was exceptional, the room service was awesome and the food was so delicious. Ricky was our valet attendant he went about and beyond to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend the Drake in Oak Brook we were so happy, were going back to rent a suite for the weekend. Such a beautiful, beautiful experience. Never disappointed.”
“Very clean hotel. Staff is wonderful. See how many McDonald's golden arches you spot through the halls. The only complaint I have is there aren't any microwaves in the room. Otherwise this hotel has it all. A pool, a sauna and a steam room and a 24/7 gym all free of charge to you. There's also nice hiking/biking trails around the property. They even have bikes you can ride weather permitting!”
“Update 4/29/24: Stayed here again for the weekend for my sister’s wedding, along with 30+ other people. Once again can back my original review with the fact that this place is where you want to stay if you’re in Chicago. They were extremely accommodating and very helpful. I also want to personally thank “Janete Lopez” she was very helpful in helping me book my first group rate hotel booking. I wish I can give this place 10 stars. EVERY staff member was truly amazing and deserved to be recognized . I hope management sees this and really rewards them for their hard work!Didn’t even check out before writing thisreview! This was an amazing hotel, very clean, spacious and the staff is Oh so friendly! It’s a great location just about a half hour from downtown. The breakfast is amazing and they do a great job of making sure the dining/breakfast area stays clean. I will definitely be back here in April with my party of 50+. Definitely recommend!”

“There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful this place is. My husband and I came here to celebrate us getting married and we could not have been happier. We didn’t know what to expect when we got there but it was perfect. We got the Classic whirlpool suite, everything was clean, set up beautifully, and so comfy!! Kyle at the front desk was extremely welcoming and quick to get us checked in. When leaving, the manager was amazing and so helpful. We will definitely be back… no doubt about it!”

“We arrived here from Pennsylvania. Ernesto is so kind and friendly just like the rest of the staff and the manager were exceptional. The staff at the front desk smiled and greeted us. Outstanding! They went above and beyond. We had no issues. Our room was super clean from the bed to the floors and bathroom. We felt so comfortable, no loud noises, nice parking. We were so relaxed. The breakfast was good and the lobby looked nice. There is a Greek restaurant walking distance and the mall was close by too. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again!! We highly recommend this hotel to family and friends. Thank you again from Nadia and Barry.Rooms: Very clean, everything was working from the tv remote to the microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom was very clean.Safety: Very safe area from what we seen and heard from others.”

“Me and my son had trouble finding a hotel but this place was very nice about it there was no fuss, right after we got there it didn’t take long for us to get the room key overall it was pretty amazing.”
“Pros of this place: It's clean, quiet, and has friendly service. Con: The floor in our room was so uneven that it very noticeably sloped downhill as we walked across the room...to the point where even when laying down on the bed, you could feel the slope of the mattress, which caused the foot of the bed to be slightly but noticeably higher up than the head. Same with the desk. It did not sit level, so if you put something like a pen on it, it would roll down. There are WAY bigger problems that can be found in a hotel than this. I've traveled enough, I know. The weird flooring is minor, but worth noting. Otherwise, our room was clean, and staff were friendly. I recommend this place.Rooms: Very clean. As noted in my main review, the flor in our room was extremely sloped, which was weird, but minor.Food & drinks: This hotel has two restaurants. One is a fancy Italian one, and the other is more of a seafood bar and grill. We went to the seafood one, (Poor Phil's) and liked it.”

“Good location right off the highway and on a road populated with many businesses, restaurants, gas stations etc. Perfectly acceptable continental breakfast at this location and the room amenities aren’t fancy or special but they’re adequate and the rooms are clean and quiet. I had to check in late (past midnight) and that wasn’t an issue for them, I did call ahead to make sure that was okay though. I likely will stay at this location again due to its proximity to everything, cost, and safety.”

“This is me and my husband's second time. We just celebrated our 5th year anniversary on the 20th. When we got there there was two guys working they were very welcoming and explained everything into detail. They upgraded us and I'm very grateful for that. “I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Chicago with my family for a night. The hotel is conveniently located, just a 15-minute drive from downtown Chicago. Overall, our stay was above average.
The hotel has a few drawbacks. One inconvenience is that even for lower-level rooms, you can't use the luggage trolley due to stairs in between. However, the in-house restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We tried the pizza and salad, and both were delicious.
The room itself was quite average, nothing particularly special but comfortable enough for a short stay. Given its proximity to downtown and the quality of the restaurant, it's a good place to spend a night, though I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay .”

“Overall, it was an acceptable stay. The rooms were basic but clean and I found the bed acceptable. My friends staying in another room did have issues with their bed being hard. The front desk had a system issue when I first checked in, so they handled it on paper. I'd say the biggest issue was staffing. There were multiple times that no one would be at the front desk or bistro. I never got to try the food in the Bistro due to the wait, but the menu looked like it was all food that was heated from being frozen. They handled my friend's wedding really well, so it would be good for a large event. Probably would only come back for an event in the future.”
