Today while driving down 255 going the same direction, I’m going 70mph towards Collinsville. I notice a truck pulling a trailer in the left lane coming behind me very fast. At least 110mph. Blows right by me. If you want customers, you should at least obey the simple traffic laws. Very unprofessional and unsafe. Do not recommend.

Yesterday while I was traveling to Peoria il. Two Berco employees we’re traveling in the same direction towards Peoria. It was raining the roads were covered by the rain. I looked in my rear view mirrors, and saw a Berco truck traveling at least 90 mph. There were on headlights on. No marker lights. There were traffic cones thrown in the bed of the truck that weren’t secured. There was debris in the bed also. The driver continued at the same rate of speed while he blew past me in the passing lane.If they were to have lost control of the vehicle they were operating. Both the driver and passenger would have died. They would have also killed any other driver who was in their path.This was absolutely the most unprofessional display of disregard for the safety of themselves and others. Not to mention the damage done to the company vehicle and reputation….I did get a picture of the truck. I have no intention on ever using this company. Those two had no respect for my safety. I can’t believe that they would show respect for the work they do. Or my personal property

From the quoting process to the clean up, I am very pleased with my new deck and cannot say enough good things about the work ethic and "get the job done" attitude. These guys were hard workers, especially with this week's heat wave, not to mention they were also nice and accommodating. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it and it's hard to find that kind of commitment these days. I am definitely happy with Berco Construction and would recommend them to anyone!
In reference to previous comments about speeding or reckless driving, I should mention that Berco has a lot of crews, so not all of them drive fast. Penalizing the company by not giving them jobs doesn't solve that problem. It is imperative to communicate with management when something like that happens, so they can make the appropriate decisions to correct that behavior.

Berco construction is replacing telephone lines in front of my home for the town. They have all but destroyed the area they are working at they created a huge mess in front of my house with mud, rock and trash. They are complete slobs I have picked up cigarette butts, cups and other trash left behind when they leave for the day! Very unprofessional company.

I have to agree with the other 1 star reviewer. These guys are very unprofessional. They drive trucks, one with their company's name on it, ridiculously fast down our neighborhood street. They also ran an elderly man off the road on Ingersoll Lane and didn't stop to see if he was OK. We, and three of our immediate neighbors, all have cameras and they record video of each time these trucks fly by. I am not exaggerating and I am not someone who doesn't understand driving faster than others. But at this point, this has become a danger to our kids who cross the road every day to play with each other. If one of these trucks EVER strikes a person walking or a child I can promise you video after video of evidence will come into play and I will personally fund the prosecution of the driver and the company. I hope others also speak up against he company until they learn to respect their neighbors.

This is the only contractor we use for our business. Berco has been involved in all of our building remodels and expansions since I first met Joe to bid our work several years ago. Joe's (project manager) attention to detail coupled with his carpenters bust ass get the job done work ethic make hiering Berco a no brainer. We don't even put work out to bid anymore. You get above and beyond what you pay for or expect from a contractor.
