“We just stopped here for bathroom break and snacks on our road trip. When we walked in, the gentleman who was working at the time was mopping the floors. It was refreshing to see someone actually working when they're slow instead of sitting on their phone. The bathrooms were clean, too, and the selection of snacks was nice. The highlight happened while we were checking out. The gentleman checking us out gave our kids each a gold dollar. He had a patch on his eye and joked about being a real life pirate. Our boys got a kick out of him and truly appreciated his generosity and kindness. I wish I would've gotten his name. He was awesome.”

“Well it would be nice if they made a post saying that they're closed temporarily until they get the new gas tanks in they should put something on their website”

“Kwik Star convience stores was a welcome site after traveling 4,000+ miles in the southeast the past two weeks. No chain down there holds a candle to Kwik Star/Kwik Trip when it comes to quality and cleanliness. If you are traveling make Kwik Star/Kwik Trip your go-to stop for gas, food and a clean restroom. Keep up the good work Kwik Star employees! You really do make a difference.”

“I've been going here from time to time and got the breakfast pizza... Took my wife by once on our way home from the airport. We were close by and ordered a pizza to go... AMAZING!!!
If your ever in the area, get a slab!!!”

“Always in and out quickly as I'm either stopping on the way to work or on my lunch break... Most of the time anyways. They have the kind of my. Sew that I like when most other gas stations do not. Wide selection of hot food to eat always and the workers are polite happy and overall try to keep everyone moving along. I think I might start getting gas from here as well since I always tend to get gas at another station, a wasted trip. Good gas prices too comparingly.”

“This place is amazing!  Like a gas station, grocery store, and almost a restaurant.

- Double Bacon Cheeseburger - $4.29 - Surprisingly good.  I specifically picked one that was older on the shelf to see how it compared to a newer one (the below one).  It did look a bit disgusting with the bacon and cheese, but it was super delicious for what it is and what you pay.

The burger patties were the star of the show.  They were still plenty moist and full of flavor.  The bacon added to the flavor.  The texture was not too bad for sitting on the shelf for a while.  The bun did well.

- Quarter Pound Cheeseburger - $4.29 - Not as old as the double bacon cheeseburger above.  It was still moist, but not quite as much flavor.  It was still worth the price, though.

You can add condiments and toppings at a station they have there for that purpose.  I added ketchup, mayo, lettuce, and tomato.  The lettuce was a little wilted, but not bad at all.  There was also onion and many other veggies and so on.

The burgers were warm on the shelf and I did not have to heat them.  I just added toppings.

They have basic produce including apples, coffee (checked regularly every 30 minutes), slushies, fountain drinks, doughnuts, muffins, soups, and more.

They also offer hot burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken wings (bone-in and boneless), brats (beef and cheddar), WHOLE chickens, and more.  You can buy pizza ready to cook (maybe even to cook there?).

They also have a row of auto supplies and fluids.  The bathrooms were nice, too.

I am finding it difficult to think of what they do NOT have.  Wow!

The people were helpful, too.”

“Really kind staff, even when you show up with about 30 bicyclist 2 days in a row in a trip up the river and back.

They are great, and have good snacks, especially the homemade cookies.”

“I stopped by this BP station on a trip to the adjacent QC Mart for some snacks and drinks for a night shift at work. I didn't need to get fuel for my vehicle, but nevertheless had and took the opportunity to observe the condition of the pumps while I was here.Everything looked fairly typical for the BP stations that are adjacent to so many of the QC Marts around the Quad Cities. I saw one person use the pump while I was leaving - they did not appear to be having any issues operating their pump at the time.Everything looked clean and in working order. I'd be okay with stopping here to purchase fuel on the way from or going to work. Good job BP, keep it up!”

“Ordered the medium thin crust taco pizza, and it was perfect. My wife and I don't like a lot of crust and this absolutely fit the bill. The toppings on it were very generous which is something I really like. This is now my fav pizza to order up for us.”

“When you are in hampton and the hunger pains service, Porter is the place to go. I love the pizza ? by the slice or whole one if you like. “There's gas station to get gas. Shell gas stations are known for gas so if you want to put gas and expect to pay the price for it here is where you go to know what you're getting”

“I brought my car here to get checked over before a long-distance trip. I was impressed by the recommendations Mark gave me and the care he took with my vehicle. I live in Davenport but would definitely continue to drive a little ways to get good and honest service.”

“The pizza last night was good. But beware, it's inconsistent - on time may be good, while another could be raw dough and cold sausage. Depends on who is working.”

“I really like that this Q C Mart is accessible from the McDonald's next door. That's probably the main reason I ended up stopping by - I really wanted a drink after my ice cream cone at the McD's and the Q C Mart was right there! I love convenience. This specific Q C Mart is like most of the others around the Quad Cities area. There's some car and automotive products in one corner of the store, a coffee station, cold drinks of alcoholic and non-alcoholic variety, and a few shelves of snacks down the center of the space. I selected an orange Gatorade Zero from the cooler for my particular drink.I also happened to use their restroom during this visit. It appears to have been recently redone, with what looked like relatively new floors and fixtures. Maybe some of the other complaints on Google Maps reviews are no longer valid? I'm not sure...I paid for my drink with relative ease and painlessness. The register took Google Pay, which made me happy (not many places left that don't take this, honestly). I then left, back out into the cold winter air to return to my car.I probably won't be back to this part of LeClaire for a while. It's a bit inconvenient to get to this location, what with having to turn off of Highway 67 and onto Eagle Ridge Road and climb the hill. Thanks Q C Mart!”

“I've driven by this BP innumerable times. Well, I could probably estimate the total times, as it's a long one potential route to work. I needed a soda after work tonight and felt the need to visit this BP to accomplish the slaking of my thirst. It's definitely a BP, that much is for certain. The pumps on the outside all look relatively new and working - nobody seemed to be having issues when I stopped through. The interior looks a little less new - the flooring and ceiling are both clean but a bit worn, the coolers and fixtures don't appear to have been new as of at least 20 years. Regardless, everything looked clean and functional. All of the trappings of a gas station convenience store were here - beer, snacks, soda, coffee - yep, all there.I selected a few diet orange Squirt sodas and proceeded to pay at the front. The clerk was nice enough and got me through the transaction quickly. Aiding matters was the presence of working Google Pay. I'm still happy and amazed when places have this as an option (though admittedly, almost everyone has it now).I'd stop by here again to or from work. It's not the most convenient place to stop on the way to work (requires a left turn off the highway) but the place definitely works for my needs. Thanks BP!”

“I stopped by the Q C Mart for a drink tonight and saw this Shell Station. It's actually kind of curious - most Q C Marts I've been to (in fact, all the other ones I've visited) have BP stations next to them. Strange, right?Anyhow, this Shell Station both appears clean and modern. I walked up to the pumps themselves for a closer look and confirmed that, indeed, the cleanliness holds up upon closer inspection as well. The payment stations on the pumps visible to me appeared to be in working order, as well.I did not need gas tonight, so I did not actually use this station. I would not object to getting gas here in the future if I needed to, however. Q C Mart runs a good business, and this Shell appears to be well maintained and kept up. Thanks Shell.”

“This is a nice Casey's location with the food selections you would expect at a larger location. There was a nice selection a pre-packaged snacks, hot drinks and cold drinks.

Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options in the pizzas as well as the prepackaged snacks.

Kid-friendliness: There are plenty of kid friendly selections for take-away food.

Parking: There's plenty of parking spots right in front of the store.”

“Friendly staff, nice basic convenience store/gas station that's open 24 hours a day. It does not have a large selection of fresh or hot food like some other chains. The fuel prices are comparable to others in the area, and slightly cheaper than the BP station a few blocks away. One big plus is that they have a non-ethanol grade of regular gasoline available. This is getting harder to find, and not available at any other local stations. It is the preferred fuel for boats and many small engines (such as lawn mowers) due to its longer shelf life/stability, and its resistance to absorbing moisture. The station is located a couple blocks from the municipal boat ramp, and this may be the reason they have it. They also carry diesel fuel and a small selection of automotive essentials : such as oil, power steering fluid, diesel additives, bulbs, etc..”

“We ordered 2 pizzas to take to some friends house and we all thought the pizzas were Great! Even leftovers the next day my husband and I had the leftovers and they were still delicious. Great job and wonderful service. The pizzas were a lot better than Princeton and LeClaire. We live in Princeton but we might just order from Port Byron from now on.”
