The large majority of the staff there is wonderful, and I have never in my life had a bad experience going to Khoury. I'd reccomend them to anyone in columbia over the other two main pharmacies we have. I've been having issues getting my prescriptions taken care of at other pharmacies due to them randomly deciding not to take TriCare. However, Khoury has never had that issue. I can only speak for my experiences, and those of my boyfriend. When it comes to my boyfriends experiences, everything has been wonderful too. Occasionally there are issues filling refills of certain meds, but the pharmacist always tells me exactly what I need to do to fix the issue for him. Over all, 10/10!

For all practical purposes, I will be vague in a few areas of my review of this pharmacy. I started seeing a new doctor. I was written out some prescriptions. 1 of these prescriptions, I'm fairly certain I have never taken. I took it and had some bad symptoms. The happenstance is that this is a controlled substance. I call the pharmacy and tell the pharmacist named Chris. He immediately gets crass and dismissive, almost as if I'm lying about the way its making me feel. I call my new doctor to inform her of the symptoms. She decides to call me with a new prescription for something different(That I did not request) told me to stop taking the medication and take a bynadryl...Here's where things get interesting...I get a phone call from my doctor saying I'd been "flagged" which was not abundantly clear to me what that meant. She said the Pharmacist named Chris called her and told her that I shouldn't receive the next medication she was going to prescribe me because it was something I had used for some time in the past. So she was going to instead write me a prescription for something of lesser pain value, But the pharmacist had made it expressly clear that under no circumstance would he give me the new medicine unless I brought the old medicine back. I was annoyed, but not angry. My annoyance came out of the fact that I don't feel like the Tech did his research on my past. I had only ever had this specific medication filled once in the past year, and the only other time I was on it was under the expressed care of a Physician for 3 years prior to that, on this particular medication. Not to mention I had taken a drug test 3 days prior with my GP. Also, I was annoyed considering I had been holding out on going to a doctor because of how busy I had been with my work and travel. So I was still uncertain of what flagged meant. So I walked into the pharmacy and bluntly asked where "the accuser was?" The great discerner of pain. You could tell right away Chris didn't think I was actually going to bring the drugs back up let alone have the appropriate pill count. I told him I want him to call my doctor and tell her. I mean, when you are certain from a computer screen that someone is abusing drugs you wouldn't really expect a full accounting of the requested medication. Now I never cussed this man or got rude with him, I was however very direct. Instead of apologizing for making a sufferer of pain suffer more, and be deemed an addict. He says to me.."do you want your other meds or do you want to get out, cause I don't have to give you anything". " I said well it's your right to kick me out and I can't stop you from continually making bad decisions." Moral of the story is. I had a bad reaction and this guy made me pay the piper. Instead of making it right, he doubled down. Ok, sir, you have to look in the mirror in the morning and understand....you were wrong this time. The question is...How will you respond next time to a situation like this? The first day I went in there...Great service. There was a different gentleman there. Seemed like he cared. I'm truly perturbed and can't understand why this guy did this to me. Hope for others' sake this is a once-in-a-lifetime ordeal. I would hope, that even now, they would review the error here, wherever that might be, and be open to discussing it with me. I digress.
