“I didn’t know this post office was here, pleasantly surprised. I first stopped at the one in my town of Troy and they had one employee working and a line of about 10 people and they all appeared to have 2+ boxes each in their arms. After waiting about 10 minutes, I had to leave for an appointment, but during that time only one person was helped. When I walked into this office both counters were open and there were two people ahead of me. The one window closed down after helping her customer, it was close to closing so to be expected. The other lady was very fast and efficient with her customers. She didn’t have much emotion as friendliness or any negativity, just professionalism, getting the job done and answering your questions and getting you in and out, I can respect that. The facility was clean. I read the reviews after I left and will leave the rating a 5 and will track my packages to ensure they arrive on time and without incident, if they do, I’ll keep the 5 and recommend this USPS Office.”

“Great Post Office, Margaret & Lori are the absolute best USPS workers I have ever dealt with at a post office . They go over and Beyond there job description to help you with any of your shipping needs. They have helped with shipping issues and I allow me to ship with NO PROBLEMS! “Alright, so I'm just recounting a story that I had with this place, and boy they deserve my 5 star rating. So here I was having a crisis because I needed to send a payment for a certain government office which did not have any online payments available, and was requesting a mail back with payment, not cash but money order. I did not have any bank checks nor money orders and was at wit's end just trying to send the payment which was due the same day and not even 100$ worth.When I got there the personnel easily took off my anxiety, and they had EVERYTHING I needed, and everything was done after a few minutes. I don't even know why google does not tag this place when looking for a money order on maps. they should add them on the list.”

“I like the Uptown post office but How is anyone supposed to mail anything when the hours keep getting changed by staff? They've always been nice, helpful, & knowledgeable. Does the Postmaster General know about this? The hours they were open was until 4:45pm and has been for decades. The people here like this. Today there was several others trying to mail things when I tried to mail things but once again, another sign was taped to the window with yet Another change of hours. Is someone trying to intentionally get the Uptown post office to close for good? Sure does seem like it. Please stop this & go back to regular hours. Thank you”

“We have lived on Scott AFB for 4 years now and have met and dealt with several different employees at the post office on base. Some workers were more welcoming than others. The hours sometimes can be frustrating but overall haven’t had an issue. He current employee, Ms. V is a very sweet, patient kind lady. She always has a smile. Sometimes our expectations and time line can be the issue and a little kindness goes along way!”

My own ignorance to what I needed to do was my only holdup but I was given accurate assistance to get what I needed done. They for sure sell stamps and can mail things certified.”

“People working at the counter here in Edwardsville know which products and services they offer. They save me money by suggesting the least expensive way to ship things. They find the pretty and historic stamps I request. They are so professional I brag about them to family members living outside the area. My U.S. and international letters and packages arrive. At home my mail is delivered dependably. Over the years, mail carriers have helped me. Edwardsville 62025 has a top notch post office.”

“Had an international package lost for over a month due to re-delivery schedules. Spoke to supervisor Mandy 4 times, and she couldn't help locate the package at all and just directed us to pick up at the Fairview heights office each time. The package never made it to Fairview heights office to be picked up. Called back and got to speak with another supervisor Shamieka, not only did she go above and beyond and out of her way to help us. She was super friendly and helpful. This angel found our package!! Which has been sitting there for over a month! Don't waste your time speaking to anyone else but Shamieka, she gets the job done!!”
