“I’ve been coming to orchard auto/VP for years now…if I’m never in need of quick gas (aka too lazy to pump or in a rush) I’ve always stopped by and they’ve greeted me with nothing but smiles. Have always loved that they were the only ones in town who do still do full service. Today I went to a pretty “well known” place in town( next to subway on Beltline…lol ) to get a price check on my brakes. 1100$!! I decided to check with Steve and his workers and it was WAY cheaper…. Like WAY. I was legit about to get ripped off and Steve saved me hundreds of dollars and I’m SO grateful. Not only did they help with a ride home but they also got it done very quickly. Customer service is truly on par here… and after today I will never go elsewhere for my car. So thank you so much kail and Steve for putting in the work and not charging me an arm and a leg.
Lucas, reznor and nick are cool too and are always helpful ;)
But for real check your prices when going places to get things fixed esp being a female by yourself.

“Excellent auto body shop!! Dave and his team at Pro Care turned my bad luck streak of parking lot incidents into a positive experience - no lie! I took my Jeep Cherokee in both times after two random (yet honest) people swiped me just months apart. The guys not only fixed me up quickly and flawlessly, but Dave made it easy for the other parties to pay for the work and he got me in and out without a hitch. I really don’t want to see them again anytime soon, but I’m so glad that I have a dependable shop to turn to if my bad luck returns.”

“The service was great! I was able to get my oil change and tire rotation done in the needed time so I could get to work on time. I did encounter a problem with 1 of my tire pressure sensors not working properly as I traveled to work. I called and talked to Ken Shaw about the problem. He said to bring the car back by the next day and they would resolve the problem, which they did do. Thanks for the prompt resolution of my tire sensor problem.”

“As always, Greg is one of the most honest and reliable repair shops that I know. The dealership recommended some normal maintenance repairs be done at 2x the price that Greg's shop can do it, so I opted to go with Greg for he has done work on my other vehicles in the past. Upon examination, Greg called and said that the scheduled maintenance must have already been done because the timing belt and waterpump looked brand new and therefore did not need to be replaced.
Now, he "could have" said absolutely nothing to me and went ahead and replaced those parts and charged me for it. But Greg's shop did the honorable thing. The dealership or "stealership" would have no doubt replaced those parts out "because it was scheduled to be changed" and then charged me $3k for their troubles.

“I’ve taken my jeep all over MO and IL, to car dealerships with certified techs. WELP. They failed me. After my neighbor Shonn heard me complaining, he referred to Mike’s in Collinsville. Mind you, Shonn owns a souped-up Jeep so I know he wouldn’t lead me astray. After months of putting it off and driving on the road dangerously, I called the shop. The guys were able to get in within the week, and after one full day of TLC, my jeep has never been in better condition. I went from a Jeep wobble at 40 mph, lights flashing all over my dash, my a/c knocking, and electrical issues — to a safe ride for my son and I.

I have to give so much thanks and appreciation to Sam as he has been/is the kindest person I have ever had the pleasure of working with — especially in the automotive business. I used to sell aftermarket car products so I know how rough it can be. I even contacted companies closer to me and refused to use them because they were rude and rushy on the phone. Sam made sure I understood the issues/solutions, updated me on pricing (extremely low — I was expecting to pay a lot more), and truly cared about providing the best customer service to ME.”
