Unfortunately there's not a zero star. Once we got our last bill last year that was 1$ over everyone else we said we were done. Finally was able to secure the purchase of tank after 4 mos but now they're holding my money and I'm not happy. You can't talk to a human in billing dept. I have a receipt for my money and that's it. To add insult to this debacle, they emailed and asked if I wanted a fill for $4.48 a gal!!! What? Worst customer service ever. Legal action is next.

It has been 10 days with no gas. They keep changing the delivery day so we have no idea when to really expect it. Do not use Amerigas.

I have been without gas for 4 days. We are on a prefixed schedule for refills and the company let our tank run dry. We have called to let them know our tank was empty on a Thursday and this is Monday and we still have not received a fill. I talked with several different people that said they would make sure we were scheduled and no service yet. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and the person I was speaking to said that was not possible. We do mot owe them money. We have been good customers and paid our bill promptly so why are we not being serviced without a good explanation from the company. Also they informed us that since we ran out of gas that someone 18 years or older had to be present for them to deliver the gas. So we have not been able to leave as we have to wait for delivery. I am a very unsatisfied costumer.

Amerigas bought out our local propane provider several years back. Nothing much changed except prices crept upward. Higher than competitors now. Recently they switched to a national and online ordering system. This change was a choice for POOR service. Almost three weeks ago we requested propane for our furnace and hot water heater by online and phone. We were at the 30% per company policy to request a refill. It still has NOT arrived! We are at 15٪ now. Usually its delivered within 5 business days of a request. We've called daily and gotten a foreign speaking , at times unintelligible different person each day for 2 weeks and the last 4 business days have been told it would arrive that day. No propane still! At around 10٪ they must inspect your propane lines for leaks an additional requested expense. So Now imagine living with your Furnace at 60 and hot water heater turned down to conserve propane in winter in the midwest? You freeze your rear off and have only lukewarm showers. Do NOT choose this company for your furnace and hot water heater needs. You can only expect high prices and poor to nonexistant service!

Zero stars corporate is doing something terrible since the change before if you ordered propane they would be out in a couple days. Now it's two weeks with half the country waiting longer. I can get a new company to bring out a tank, install, and filled in two weeks time. I work with bulk and packaged gases and that is almost always next day delivery. You can't have customers if you don't deliver product.

Absolutely the worst “company” I have ever dealt with. Lies on top of lies during an emergency propane situation. I’m switching to all electric because of the intentional and absolute disregard for common human decency.

THIS IS THE WORST PROPANE COMPANY, THEY ARE WAY OVER PRICED, ALWAYS LOOKING TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF THEIR CUSTOMERS AND WHEN REQUESTING A DELIVERY THEY MAKE YOU WAIT 2 WEEKS EVEN IF YOU HAVE NO HOT WATER OR HEAT WITH CHILDREN IN THE HOME WHEN ITS 10 DEGREES OUTSIDE WITH SNOW ON THE GROUND, I RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS COMPANY.

It seems as they started using a call center and the people you speak with are very rude now. I never used to pay in advance and they started making me pay in advance. When I asked questions the people on the phone they were unable to answer my questions and were extremely disrespectful. Will be switching to different company.

Over priced compared to local competitors. Charge tank rental when other companies do not. Billing who cannot link accounts.

Most expensive rates for gas compared to others. Charge a fortune to move tanks and if you cancel someday they will pick up your tank but you will be charged a pick up fee for them to pick up their tank... Crazy.

I want to be VERY clear here. This specific branch of Amerigas provides the most amazing customer service. In fact, I believe when it comes to a *local* branch of a large, national corporation, this is the bar with which all the rest should reach for with their local branches.
