My Uncle is a member, and he's been bringing us here since I was little. I have so many fond memories spent at the club. The club is clean, spacious and the staff is friendly.

I use to shoot with Bruce and his wife Barb twenty years ago. It didn't take long to see why she was the nation's number one female with a 357 at 200 plus yard. Unreal to watch! Six gram trigger!!!

We loved the Coal City Area Club for many years (1960's to 1980's) as members. It is a great campground for families. The lake channels were originally the Peabody Coal mining areas. The club has a beach house with a beach, picnic area with grills, campgrounds, open areas to play games, boat docks, close to Coal City town & other areas. There are membership fees to join the club. Our family enjoyed. So call the office for more information. I added my photos from Coal City Area Club taken in 7/1978 with many memories. The photos were taken with an older camera. Today's digital cameras would show the truer colors. The trees should be green, etc. Enjoy anyways.
