When my son Joshua was receiving his first Holy Communion I needed to get a very special rosary beads for him and a prayer book . I ordered eveything over the phone with Sue and she was absolutely amazing and helped me pick the perfect items. In addition she also included in my order, completely free of charge, the most beautiful little wooden box/chest medal and rosary holder with a bible inscription from the book of Joshua. Everything arrived safely and was packaged beautifully. Sue will go above and beyond the call of duty to get the exact item one describes and if she does not have it in stock she will order it for you immediately. This is definitely the place to visit when you need that most unusual item. Quite frankly if I could give a 6 Star review I would do so with pleasure!!!

I needed a special cross for a funeral floral arrangement. Sue worked with me over the phone for the perfect one. It was a Jerusalem stone cross. Absolutely stunning in the arrangement that English Garden Flower Shop (also highly recommend) put together. Sue was so kind and patient. I have not been to the store, but to work with her over the phone with very easy and a pleasant experience. When I am in the area, I will definitely stop in. The store has limited hours; however, the owner worked with me during non store hours on Friday and then on Saturday we finalized all the arrangements when she was back in. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you for taking such good care of me and the bereaved felt the love from such a special piece to remember her loved one.

A Christian Bookstore lover's paradise!!! Because it is a "mom and pop" business, I must call ahead of time to make sure hours are as posted at their website, before I go. However, that is a VERY, VERY, small price to pay when you consider how much many others and I grieved, over the closing of corporate Family Christian Bookstores, and Empowered Life Christian stores. It's a Christian oasis in an online shopping world!!!

We showed up at 1030am and the sign handwritten on the door said not open til 11am. Was not open times as listed on Google. I am not from Illinois and am frustrated I took the time to drive specifically to a Christian bookstore and it was closed.. So we went somewhere else.

Some nice items for sale, but very poor return service. Cashier was huffy and unpleasant, shop was unable to provide basic services like having enough cash on hand for change, and apparently unable to credit the amount back onto a card despite that being the original form of payment. Mind you, this is coming from someone with two jobs in retail/customer service. it took almost 2 months and three return trips to receive my money back for an item I returned. This used to be my “go to†store for religious items, but not any more!
