“Dan is the man at the UPS store #3922 On 9923 Ridgeland Avenue In Chicago Ridge Illinois!I had more than a handful of Amazon returns, and he was super helpful and kind. Greeted soon as I walked in and there were a line of people and he was flying solo on a Saturday during peak hours. I can’t stand post offices on the weekend due to the attitude of most employees. That’s why I go to the UPS store and he was super efficient and quick and nice to everyone including myself.I managed to get all my returns from Amazon and even managed to pack two big items in boxes and he was super helpful with all of it and even with the email labeling components of the more challenging returns.Dan did not ask for me to leave this review in fact if he did I never would have. I get my eyebrows done and I go to salons and make up services and they are always asking me to leave them reviews and just the suggestion alone is a turn off, and I tend to resist. People want to leave good reviews without being asked to. He probably already forgot who I am and I don’t care. I hope he gets to be the manager if he isn’t already or a franchise owner or something because he makes UPS look good and Amazon returns that much easier. Thank you for all that you do, Dan!!”
“I had a wonderful experience with DHL in chicago. Not only were the service providers very patient, but also some of the kindest souls i’ve met. Maria was the employee who looked after me. She was kind, funny and most of all helpful. We ran into some things which weren’t aligning but with her patience and client care we were able to work together and solve these issues. She had such a customer first approach, and even after we had a little hinder. Greeted the next customer with a big smile. She was great, not only as a worker but as a human.”

Their printer was down, and despite how busy their store was getting near closing time, they still were able to handle all the customers after me and get in contact with their printers service provider to get that fixed so that I could ship my package. They even stayed after hours just to ensure I was taken care of. Best service I’ve ever had at a UPS store!”

He explained to me why I was billed the amount that I was and took responsibility for staff not communicating the full price during the transaction(full price meaning shipping, pickup fee, materials, etc.)He apologized and even refunded me the charge. He also ensured me he would council the employee I spoke to initially when I called to resolve this issue. He also said they would use this as a learning opportunity to change processes to ensure this does happen again to another customer.I really appreciate that he listened to my concerns and showed empathy for the situation, instead of having a mocking/smirking attitude of "oh well, don't care" like I received from the other person I spoke to.I have updated this review to a 5 star based on my interaction with this gentleman, and because the interaction I had with a single employee does not translate to the entire business being bad.Previous review, leaving for context for update above⬆️:The below was an interaction with a UPS rep and a single employee of this store.This store(through a UPS rep I contacted at instruction from BWI) quoted me $14.27 to mail a lost item from the BWI airport to my house in Florida. Once I provided payment info they billed me $33.84. I called and spoke to an individual at the store who claimed there was a $10 shipping fee and the 8"x12" bubble mailer was $7 and some change. That still does not add up. I told him this was fraudulent and he denied that and said "Naw I mean not really". The package says I was charged for a 3lb package weight. The USB drive is 1.07oz and even with the bubble mailer it came in it was under 1/10 of a lb.If you are quoted a price and billed almost double the amount quoted that is fraud. You did not bother to disclose any other fees and did not send me an itemized invoice showing what those charges were for. When I called your employee was rude like I was wrong for questioning the increased amount.”

She is an absolute treasure.”
