Gym closes at 7pm on weekends… I work night shifts and it’s impossible to go to the gym now with the new hours. Look into switching gyms after going to this one for over 6 years

This was a great 24/7 gym, and while I was nervous but somewhat hopeful about the LA Fitness takeover, I tried to stay optimistic. As someone with an irregular work schedule, I really appreciated a gym that was flexible with its hours. Now that this gym has set hours, I unfortunately can’t go as often as I’d like.
Since the LA Fitness ownership took over, there hasn't been any new equipment added. They also replaced the spray bottles and paper towels for cleaning with small, thin sanitizing wipes that frequently run out.
My membership is up for renewal in a month, and I’m seriously reconsidering it. I signed up for the 2-year, any-gym option, but now I’m conflicted and leaning toward switching to another gym company altogether. XSPORT just seems to have gone downhill.

Good equipment, atmosphere, and people. Has pretty much anything you'd want in an affordable gym. Helpful staff and gym goers.

Went in with an online free guest pass to new and improved management (La fitness) as a previous member at this club when it was still ran by Xsport. Who seems like the boss or overhead of this place has the worst customer service approach I have ever seen in my life. There is no warning online that says if you were a previous member under Xsport that you cannot redeem a guest pass to try out "La Fitness." So overly rude and didn't provide a solution told me "I was trying to scam him" and I don't pay the bills so I'm not able to use the pass. Tried to ask personal information to my friends job to try and compare situations?!?! Just so unprofessional. I would have bought a $20 guest pass if it was not for that inconsiderate man. Save yourself from this trap of a gym please. If I could rate it 0 stars I would.

I've been with this gym for more than 5 years. Under Xsport fitness, the place wasn't perfect, but it did the job.
Since LA Fitness took over, the schedule is no longer 24/7, the floor is always dirty, there are no paper towls, and for some unknown reason, someone stole both triceps ropes. Who the hell steals that? ?.

Decent neighborhood gym. Seriously nothing special but it has everything you could need if you like to work out. Only complaint is that it’s no longer 24 hours, as of 10/7/24. Used to love coming in at 10 or 11PM when much of the crowd cleared out for the day, and I know I’m not the only one who did, but those days are history. Closing at 7PM on Saturday and Sunday is actually insane too - that’s pretty lame after not having a closing time at all, and I hope that changes to at least 8 or 9. Probably still going to stay on for now because it’s walking distance and the XSport monthly price is grandfathered in. Just have to call out that it’s crazy that this is now a worse gym with fewer hours than it was last year, but it’s more expensive for new members. Will say that workers are friendly for the most part except be careful if you’re signing up - they really try to upsell training sessions and tried really hard to weigh me and measure my body fat %

Equipments are not good..specially for beginners don't come to this gym and management is unprofessional that's why I canceled my membership from this gym

The equipment was always pretty bad, but since LA fitness bought out this gym it's gotten worse. There is never any supplies to wipe down equipment (there is either cleaner or paper towels, never both) and now they will no longer be 24hrs as of October 7th. The hours were the only reason I came to this gym, so now I will have to look at canceling my membership and going elsewhere.

Not sure if it’s related to the takeover by LA Fitness, but they don’t seem to be maintaining the cardio equipment as well anymore. Two treadmills in a row had loose belt doing the backwards slipping thing. Other equipment have broken/missing heart rate sensors, etc.

For starters this gym sucks do not come in here. Specially for their training! they will steal you MONEY and act dumb about it!!!!!!! The fact that the merge happen, makes me sad due to LA being a very well-maintained gym, nothing compared to this trashy gym and their workers!!!!! Bought 2 yrs and was not able to continue bc they are a bunch of rats!!! Management and CORP ! Save your energy, money and def time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9/17/24 8:36pm NO A/C extremely hot in entire gym. NO paper towel, NO wipes, NO supplements. No water bottles. What am i paying for? This place has gotten worse since the new LA fitness ownership. And it’s not the only xsport with these issues. This is sad. Been a member for 10years.
