Wintrust has been my bank for a long time; starting in the Mayfair neighborhood of Chicago, then switching to Lagan Sq when I moved to the area. The tellers have always been helpful, welcoming and friendly, but it’s the personal bankers and bank manager that really make the place special. They know me by name, and never hesitate to say “hello,” ask about my family, and have helped me at their earliest convenience. They are communicative and have made my banking experience an excellent one. A special thanks to Ivelisee, Ruth and Nancy for their kindness, their expertise and interest!

This review is specifically about the unprofessional manager EVILese Rodriguez, while trying to resolve a issue with my child's student checking account I had to speak with her. Her attitude is nasty and unprofessional! She shouldn't be managing anything at all. Ended up going to the Roosevelt and Homan location where I was actually helped and had the opportunity to experienced great customer service.

Signed up for this bank with good intentions and looking for something convenient to get to, but have nothing but poor experiences. 1) Extremely difficult to get any information about log in credentials if you happen to lose them or make an error with password. 2) No payment of sign on bonus due to a technical error in the e-statements 3) Much more difficult to initiate transfers out of the platform than I have experienced elsewhere

I waited over a half an hour in drive through to make my deposit. They didn’t event acknowledge me at the drive through and had to ring the bell three times and got service 15 minutes after. There was a huge line of cars behind me and I see that they didn’t even try to get the line moving. I blame management because they are just sitting in their office while bankers aren’t helping customers. Keep in mind there were no people waiting inside and still not able to take care of me! Unacceptable and I want to bank elsewhere!

My wife and I just worked through our first wire transfer with Kubi. He was courteous, helpful, and immensely personable. This was by far the easiest and most pleasant bank experience of our lives. Exceptional customer assistance!

If you’re looking for a business loan, go anywhere else, a back alley loan shark or sell a kidney. Appalling customer service. We filed a ethics complaint that was reviewed and answered by, get this, the same people we filed the complaint against. Do yourself a giant favor, bank anywhere else, you’ll thank me for it.

I don't know how this bank is still open, or how it complies with regulations. They are so awful it is shocking. For example, their online system is nearly impossible to enroll in, and they have the wrong phone #'s associated with my account. As another example, when I went in recently to withdraw cash they did not offer me a receipt and said "we don't give receipts for withdrawals." What in the world? Also, while I was there, a man was using the ATM and his card got stuck in there. The staff was so rude to him about it, refusing to help at all. Please do not bank here.

Went to the branch this morning regarding an issue I had with my account. The teller was very courteous and asked me to speak with the manager directly. I spoke with the manager (Ivelisse Rodriguez). She was very professional and efficient. She immediately understood the problem and provided me with the solution. All of this took less than 5 minutes. Truly outstanding service. Thank you!

If I could give no stars I would. This is the third time I call and ask for help over the phone to this same branch as I am in the hospital and cannot physically walk into a branch due to my health. This branch isn’t making it any easier on people with chronic conditions. An African American female at that branch felt “uncomfortable” giving me a quote on how much a check book would cost after I provided her with all of my banking credentials and security questions correctly- she still felt “uncomfortable”. I just need to know how much a check book would cost- all she told me was “anywhere from $45-$350”; I would just like to know the price for my certain account with Wintrust. So pitiful, this generation is always feeling uncomfortable, anxious, depressed- maybe she shouldn’t be working at a bank period. Beyond horrible customer service and unprofessional beyond mesasures. The pandemic be letting anyone who wants to work work. SMH.

Antiquated procedures and poor service levels. Excessive and lacking the actual knowledge of requirements reps. Wiring money out of an account is a process equal to pulling all wisdom teeth without nova cane.
