They so money hungry one guy told me I had to spend $20 to break a $100 bill the reason was because he don’t have enough cash, bull! Go to urban pantry around the corner instead they won’t gouge you ?

Way too overpriced. Half a gallon milk is 4 dollar where you can get 1 gallon for that much price at any other convenience store. Plus the fee they charge for credit card use.

A solid, late-night destination for booze. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and open to assisting you with your purchase, regardless of what your intentions might be.

Items are all way over-priced (I get it, it’s a convenience store) but then they add a fee if you pay with a credit card. No other convenience store in the area does this and other stores have MUCH better pricing. I will NOT be returning.

Wells Pantry is an awesome shop with tons of alcohol and snacks! They always have Ben & Jerry’s ice cream that you can’t find anywhere else. The staff are super friendly and if they don’t have something they’ll get it in stock for you. They also started selling onions, avocados, potatoes, and a few other fresh items recently.

My experience here was the worst. The store closes at 10. We arrived around 9:45 and were ready to cash out about 9:53. Every minute we were there he told us we had 3 more mins, 2 more mins, etc. We were very respectful when asking why we were being rushed when they closed at 10p. The employee said, "I can't wait around 45 mins for you to decide what you want. It's cold outside. I still have to count the drawer. Are you ready? We're closed." ... mind you it was not even 9:55p. He was super rude and didn't rush any other customers. We were the only BLACK customers by the way. I won't return to this store and recommend giving your service to the other convenient stores just a block away.

They never wear masks inside the store. Even during the height of the Omicron variant, they weren't wearing masks. I am disabled and immunocompromised and have to walk farther from home to another store to get things because I don't feel comfortable checking out there. The mask mandate in Chicago has NOT been dropped, and for the last 2.5 months they haven't worn masks. Very inconsiderate of the general public, unprofessional, and ableist behavior.
