Would rate 0 stars if I could. I selected Capsule yesterday at an urgent care appointment because of their “same day delivery” advertisement. Well, buyer beware that doesn’t apply on weekends if it’s after 3pm.I opted to wait a day for the delivery to start my prescription despite worsening symptoms, as I figured it’d be nice to not have to leave the house again. Delivery window was 12pm-3pm. The driver didn’t arrive until 2:52 while I was in the bathroom and didn’t get to my phone for a few minutes. Within 3 minutes, they cancelled my order. I contacted them and they said the driver was “out of range” and couldn’t come back. I asked them if I could pick it up or if they could transfer the prescription because I need it today, and they said they couldn’t until tomorrow because the pharmacy closes at 3. Unreal.Customer service rep was not helpful at all. Don’t use them if you’re needing a medication asap, despite their deceitful advertising.

Great service and polite drivers. Better prices than Walgreens. Definitely my pharmacy choice.

No longer same day? I have gotten all of my maintenance meds from capsule without issue. Usually same day but very occasionally next day. Since I'm filling before I'm out that's never a problem. This month I got sick. Started out as a horrible cold and ended up as pneumonia. Last Tuesday morning my doctor called in a prescription for cough medicine because I was coughing so bad my abs hurt. I went to schedule right away but the earliest I could get it was Wednesday between 10 and noon. I spent another night miserable but assumed this was a one off and did not remove them from my doctors system. Yesterday after hours my doctor called in antibiotics because my X-rays came back saying it was pneumonia. The message I received indicated that they would contact me at 10 when the pharmacy opened. At 10am exactly I opened the app and discovered that once again they had no same day delivery slots. And since they don't have a physical location for pick up, all the customer support can do is tell me to transfer it. So now I'm left waiting and hoping the two pharmacies can manage coordinating that before they close at 3pm. Tl;dr? Don't have your doctor call in anything urgent here. Demand has outstripped courier availability.

This is the most amazing pharmacy. If you’re chronically ill you definitely should transfer your meds. They are so personable. They apply manufacturer coupons without fuss. If you need a prior authorization they contact your doctor and follow up. The pharmacist has time to actually practice pharmacy and counsel and discuss interactions. I love it.

As a professional patient with multiple chronic illnesses, it's so wonderful to have a pharmacy I can message through their app or text instead of being on the phone for a lifetime. It in fact is better for my health because when I have really hit my limit and am totally exhausted, I sometimes can't do the work of calling and organizing between all my doctors and the different meds/pharmacies. They will do their best to apply manufacturer coupon cards with or without you trying to find one and transfer meds for you when your own doctor gets it wrong and sends it to the incorrect pharmacy... Compared to the years of going through so many different pharmacies, they really do their best to be efficient. Of course they're also human but for my needs they have really alleviated such a huge part of my life that taxed me so much for years. And of course best of all ordering for delivery is so easy and straightforward. Cheers to whoever developed their app because it's super user friendly.

Nothing but praise for my experiences with Capsule over the past few months. I love the app and they make getting your medications easy, keeping you well informed every step of the way. It's essentially a mail order service but by way of courier service. This beats waiting in line at Walgreens or CVS. If you live in a building with a doorman or work from home, delivery shouldn't be an issue. Otherwise, be careful to time delivery for when you will for sure be home as they make it clear you must be present for the medications to be delivered. I hope to be able to continue using Capsule for a long time!

They have gone downhill so fast. Transferring my scripts to CVS. And they started to add a $3 tip without even telling you.. you have to manually remove it. They’re just trying to get customers to subsidize their labor costs.

First off the chat section of their app is completely useless. Whoever is in the chat has zero to no knowledge that is helpful as capsule started out fabulous and I was like wow this is a game changer. They were so responsive and helpful, even in the app. It’s just gone down hill fast. It’s hard to get in touch with someone. If you walk in person to the shop the people working there seem miserable and just not friendly. I think I’m going to move back to CVS. You need to wait 15 minutes + on the phone to talk to someone @ Capsule if you need help, only the actual pharmacist knows anything. Not even the people that pick up the phone.

Switched from Walgreens a year ago and wow this is bad. They never send your prescription, no auto refill options, when you order it doesn’t arrive, and most importantly … they refuse to call your doctor for a refill. I would NOT recommend. This company is amateur.

Capsule is incredible. They always go above and beyond to add coupons and look for discounts. You can text them if you have questions and I typically get a response within a few hours. I've never had any issues with delivery (free!), which is typically next day. Huge thanks to the Capsule team!

The map never works. I left written and verbal instructions for the driver to buzz my apartment and call me; but, they do not. One of the drivers was towed; but, that was because they left their vehicle for a prolonged period of time not because they got out of the vehicle to buzz the apartment. I have called Capsule repeatedly to fix the issue. They do not.I agree with Megan. I have had the same problem. I am 70 and have several medications. I have frequently gone with for more than a week without any refill.

Used to love using Capsule and did so consistently when I had regular medication deliveries about 6 months ago. Really convenient. This week I had slow chat response times and couldn’t get any information about a new medication I needed quickly (not even confirmation that the prescription had come in from the physician at least 24 hours prior). Got generic responses about their systems being down and told that I should reach out again in an hour. Tech stuff happens, but putting the burden on the customer to resolve the issue is not a great incident response approach. Especially when dealing with health. Looks like other reviewers have had issues of late. I will be wary to use Capsule in the future.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. They used to be great. The past six months they have not been. They need to hire more people or stop taking prescriptions. The behavior makes them on the verge of requiring the state department to come in for a fraud investigation. If you try to call, no one answers, same with chat. You will order a medicine, and it may or may not be delivered, after you have already been charged for it. Medications are always out of stock, and when they do come back in stock there is no notification even though they still have your prescription. If you fill and get charged for the prescription on a certain day, but they can’t deliver it until the following day, they will start the 28 days for insurance purposes from the date of delivery, not the date that you were charged, meaning you will need to actually wait 29 days to refill again.

The circus this company makes you wade through to get something as simple as an allergy medication prescription, should be studied by Harvard or NASA. It’s basically insane and I wouldn’t wish interacting with them on even my worst enemies.
